Experience the peace and tranquility of Apple Canyon Lake in this well appointed lakefront home. Panoramic views of the lake and surrounding countryside can be enjoyed from the dining room, deck, Florida room and lower level family room throughout the entire year. A few steps out the back yard and you are at the sandy beach.
This spacious, newer home can comfortably accomodate up to 8 people (maximum allowed) on a weekly or weekend basis. Please refer to the availabilty calendar for specific dates, or contact us by email or phone for further info.
The historic towns of Galena, Stockton, and Elizabeth are only minutes away for restaurants, shopping and/or antiquing. The Shenandoah Riding Center is also nearby for trail rides.
All amenities available to Apple Canyon Lake homeowners are available to you during your stay. During the winter months you can take part in sledding, ice skating, hiking, ice-fishing and cross-country skiing. Downhill skiing is available nearby at Chestnut Mountain in Galena.

I'd rate it 4-1/2 stars (very good). Your response, when I called you twice, was very quick. The tank on the grille will have to be "run dry" to disconnect. The on/off valve on the tank is frozen in the "on" position. You probably have 6-10 burned out light bulbs needing replacement. It wasn't clear which boat dock was ours. Cleaning lady may need more time! She wasn't done when we came at 3:00. It was a little dirty and sheets were left in the dryer.There wasn't any laundry soap. In the whole scope though, it was very nice, and we all had a fun vacation!!!! Fishing was excellent too!! (consider a fish cleaning table)
Owner response:Thanks for the great rating. It is wonderful to hear that your family had so much fun. We appreciate the feedback. Some of the bedroom bulbs are unscrewed to keep the room from being too bright. The cleaning crew has it tough sometimes when the previous guests do not leave on time. We will mention this to the crew to ensure they start on time even if guests are still there. Our VRBO website notes that washer and dryer are available, but to bring your own laundry detergent. A fish cleaning table is available at the marina. (This keeps the odor down at the cottage). Have a great rest of the summer.

This relaxing cabin was in beautiful condition, the beach and lake in the backyard was clean, and the golf course was so much fun to play on. This is in God's country, with deer and eagles in the area; we loved the serenity.
