This two-bedroom/two-bathroom plus bunk beds condo is located on the fifth floor on beautiful Okaloosa Island, Ft. Walton Beach.
The living room and master bedroom provide a spectacular view of the gulf with the balcony spanning across both rooms.
Our smoke-free condo features classically elegant furniture and 9 foot ceilings. The master bedroom has a king size bed with walk-in closet and sliding glass doors to the balcony. The master bathroom has a double vanity. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with adjoining bathroom. The bonus room has twin bunk beds, perfect for children. The sofa converts to a queen size bed. The kitchen is complemented by contemporary black granite countertops surrounded by maple-trimmed kitchen cabinets with all amenities. A separate laundry room features a large capacity washer and dryer. TV's (flat screen mounted in living room), VCR, DVD, and CD player are provided in the condo. Free wireless internet.
The unit has a large covered parking space near the elevators. A beach umbrella and 2 chairs are included.
Gulf Dunes has two beachside swimming pools (one heated Nov-Mar), exercise room, tennis court and barbecue area. This condo directly overlooks the pool. Stroll along the sugar-white beach to the Okaloosa fishing pier, Boardwalk and Gulfarium. There are many restaurants nearby (some within walking distance) along with miniature golf (less than a mile) and a par-three golf course (18 hole courses within 15 minutes). Close to all the amenities of Destin but without crowds and traffic. On Okaloosa Island (which is approx 4 miles long), you will find beaches to explore with natural sand dunes. Ft. Walton's new convention center is 1 mile from the condo.
This condo is the place to spend a family vacation or to just relax on the beach or by the pool and read a book. This location has spectacular views in one of Emerald Coasts top tier properties. Why the Owner Chose Gulf Dunes
Okaloosa Island has the emerald colored water and sugar white sand on one side and the bay on the other. All condo complexes are limited to 7 stories, therefore, more secluded and not as crowded as Destin beaches and yet close enough to Destin to enjoy all the amenities. When the water is clear, it is easy to spot the dolphins from the beach or the condo.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
I purchased this condo after looking many other condo's on the island. The selling points were the large balcony spanning across the living and master bedroom directly overlooking the pool, a full size laundry room, double sinks in the master bath, a covered extra large parking space close to the elevators and the excellent condition of the condo. The ocean front condo is romantic, tastefully decorated, clean and easy to hear the sound of the ocean.

My husband and I live in Huntsville, AL. We drive to the condo in approx 5 hours. We love the island so much my husband bought a condo for our second residence. We are retired. Craig is originally from Houston and I am from a small town in middle TN. Since retiring, we travel and always compare "our" beach to other beaches. Nothing compares to the sugar white sand and emerald coast in Ft. Walton Beach.
