We had a great time. Purrrfect view. Extremely clean and elegant condo with plenty of room. Fully functional kitchen and dining room. We grilled on the outside grill, too. Our family did not want to leave! (I would check on status of various remote control devices. Some seemed out of battery juice, I think.)

Owner response:Thanks for comments. Its great to relax on the beach and have a grill for fresh seafood. Remotes batteries have now been replaced and extra batteries are available in the unit for future use.

This condo was absolutely gorgeous! All of the rooms were decorated beautifully and it was a very comfortable home away from home. We had a wonderful time during our extended weekend and wished we could stay longer. The kids loved the waterslide and the adults loved the lazy river! We can't wait to go back next year!

Fabulous Balcony and View

Our family stayed in the condo over Thanksgiving. We just loved sitting on the balcony and looking at the gorgeous view. The condo was very clean and spacious, extra sheets for the sofa bed were available, and there were plenty of towels. Everyone had a wonderful time (all adults), and we're talking about booking this condo again.

A very very disappointing vacation.

It was decorated very poorly. There were items that were broken, the condo was not cleaned very well, and items like placemats & bedspreads were very dirty. I spent more time cleaning and waiting on things to be fixed than I did enjoying my vacation. I was very unsatisfied and I would not rent from here again.

I have used VRBO for the past 7+ years for literally EVERY vacation my family takes. This is the first time I have been disappointed! RENTERS BEWARE of this condo! Upon arrival to the condo I noticed the blinds in both the master bedroom and great room were broken and immediately emailed the owner so that I would not be charged for these. She responded to that email. I emailed regarding the list below and have never received a response. Regarding our stay: there were no sheets for the pull out sofa bed; there were not enough towels to accommodate 8 guests; there were not enough utensils in the kitchen for each guest to eat at the same time; the cookware very extremely limited, I felt like I was back in college; the toilets did not flush and, in fact, was broken; the ice maker made a horrible loud noise during the night which disturbed everyone's sleep; there was a lawn chair on the balcony that was broken but was not removed. One of my guests sat in the chair and immediately fell to the tile floor hitting her head. The front legs were snapped in the middle. The website gives you the impression that two parking passes are included in the rental of the condo, we had to purchase these and the rate was more than the owner has listed on the website. The televisions in this unit are terrible as all of the power buttons have been removed, and use of these is not easy because the remotes are taped together and do not always work. There is only 1 DVD player in the unit, but if you have VHS tapes, then maybe you can watch a movie! The "stereo system" is a CD player that does not work.

We really enjoyed this unit. The kids loved the slide as we enjoyed the balcony overlooking them. The only thing missing was beach front. Otherwise we loved it and would definitely rent this unit again.

Family Fun

My family of nine thoroughly enjoyed the stay at your condo. The condo was very spacious and accommodating to the whole family. The pool and lazy river was kid friendly and also relaxing for the adults. My only suggestion for the condo would be to add an extra bed in the LARGE master suite. If all goes well we hope to revisit this condo again next summer. Thanks for not allowing pets or smoking in the condo. I would recommend this unit to friends and family because the owner is very considerate and responsive to his renters. The unit was also clean and very well equipped.

We enjoyed our five days at your condo.Beautiful view probably the best in the complex.The condo has more than enough room for everyone to spread out.I do think the kitchen could be stocked a little better more pots and pans, wine opener,etc other than that everything was great. The condo was absolutely beautiful and very spacious. Our two kids (12 and 16) loved having their own room with their own bathroom...we loved that, too! Loved the master bedroom, which is HUGE! The master bath is great, too, with a garden tub and a big, dual-head shower and double sink....oh, and a huge walk-in closet! The deck is enormous and very well supplied with tables and chairs for everyone. The view is fantastic (we saw dolphins jumping in the bay!). The kids used the indoor pool and spas, we used the exercise room every day, and the kids fished off the pier. The laundry room is very convenient and loved the wet bar. We had our Thanksgiving Day dinner there, so the kitchen was highly utilized and easily sat eight people comfortably. This was more than we could ask for at such a reasonable price. We will definitely recommend this to anyone staying in the area....our parents, who live in Gulf Shores, are already planning a week there with their friends just to get away! Owners are great to work with and everything went smoothly, from check-in to check-out. This is not our first time staying in the area and so far, this is the best place we've stayed hands-down!

This was a SUPER condo! The owners were very helpful and friendly. The condo was perfect. We had 3 small kids and there was so much space for us all. The Master was huge and the view was great! This is definitely our favorite!! We'll be back

What a wonderful time we had on our all girl trip July 12- July 16th. The emenities included in the condo gave us very little reason to leave the premises. We couldn't even convince the two twelve year olds to go to the beach. Our unit had to have had the best view of all the units. It was perfect. The only downside of our stay was that it didn't last long enough. We truly hope that we will be able to visit again.

Great stay at great condo. Having the parking garage keeps your car cooler and keeps down elevator traffic. POB 2 has more confined pool/lazy river area than POB 1 which my wife and I decided was great for us b/c we have 3 young kids and you could see them from no matter where we were in the swim area. The condo was great. Love the view - drank coffee every morning on the balcony and watched boats leave the pass. The dining room table can be given away in my opinion, we ate every meal on the balcony. Loved it. Patterson rentals went very well, no problems. Thanks

May 1st and 2nd. We loved the condo. It was very nice. We love the Phoenix on the Bay II. This was our second stay and we plan to come back in August 2009. The kids love the lazy river and slide. Great view. The balcony is awesome. LOVE IT!

This is a great place to stay. Lots of room, very open and very clean and nice. It is not very old and has been taken care of. The master bedroom is really large with a great big bathroom and is so nice.

This Condo is the best Condo I have rented in the Orange Beach area! It is so roomy, it is like you are staying in a house. It really has a great view of the bay and the ideal place to sit and have your morning coffee. I will stay here again.

The condo at Phoenix on the Bay II was wonderful. Plenty of room. Awesome view. Easy access. We rented a boat slip and enjoyed our boat too. Our children could not get enough of the pool/slide/lazy river. This is by far our best vacation to the beach over the last four years. We will definately be back.

Best condo on the bay....I have stayed at Phoenix on the Bay before, however this condo was the "bomb". Not one single bad thing can be said. Wonderful view, no issues with any appliances or cooking equipment, etc... We will be back.

We absolutely loved every single thing about this beautifully decorated condo. This unit has an amazing view of the bay and the lazy river. We enjoyed the view so much we had almost every meal out on the large balcony which includes a big table and plenty of seating. The unit is conveniently located to parking and also to the elevators. On arrival we were able to rent a boat slip at the front desk and enjoyed easy access to our boat. We had 4 kids with us and they fell in love with the lazy river, the slide and the pools. The six of us had plenty of room in this spacious condo. We stayed 4 nights and did not want to leave. No complaints! Can't wait to do it again!!

Condo was beautiful and very spacious! We have 5 children and we had plenty of room! THe view was amazing. My three year old is already asking to go back to the slide house- they loved the slide and lazy river. We can't wait to go back next year! (T.V.'s aren't in the best of operation- but there was little time to watch TV!)

We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to stay here again. The condo was very roomy, clean and beautifully decorated. The master bedroom and bathroom were HUGE! Working with the owner was great and check in on-site was a breeze and much better than having to stop elsewhere. The view of the pool area and the bay from the unit and balcony was the best to be had. Parking was close to the unit and the elevator was very convenient. I did bring a few of my own non stick cookware because it is not unusual to have to improvise when cooking at any vacation condo. Thank you so much.

Wonderful place. Very clean and spacious with a great view. Location was excellent and very convenient for stocking up as well as going to the pool. Cooking tools very limited. Kitchen is not well supplied beyond dishes and flatware which were fine. Only problem was arriving after 10 p.m and having to go to another building. The desk agent there didn't have any information regarding our rental on the computer because we didn't rent directly through the management agency. After a short time, the information was found and all went quite smoothly afterwards.

Stayed three days. No problems what so ever. Large floorplan allows plenty of space for everyone. Great view. Easy to book. Would do it again. Only complaint might be the dizziness from the rapid turns driving up the parking garage.

Our recent stay at the Phoenix on the Bay II was a dream! The condo was amazing and absolutely perfect. The view is spectacular, the rooms were ideal and all the comforts of home were on hand. It was so hard for us to leave and we can't wait to visit next year. Thank you for a wonderful time!
