  Owners are gracious with their time and responses to email. Seemless intructions- no hassle with meeting someone onsite, etc. Location is perfect. We saw humbacks and turtles daily. Would definitely consider coming back if we ever visit Maui again. Parking is included!

  We were thrilled to be able to spend our 45th wedding anniversary at this beautiful penthouse condo at the Mahana. We both agree that it doesn't get any better than this! The views are beyond description. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai and watching all the whales. It was our first time to Maui during whale season, and it was pure joy to see these creatures breaching right in front of our eyes. Who dreamed there would be so many! This unit has been tastefully decorated. The bed is very comfortable which means so much to us while on vacation (my husband is a bed connoisseur). I especially loved the large shower with the overhead rainfall feature. Our only regret is that we were not able to stay long enough -- but no worries! Problem solved. We are going back to celebrate our 46th anniversary next year. This might just become a habit! A big THANK YOU to the owners for accommodating us on our special occasion.

  We just got back from a wonderful 10-night vacation in Linda & John's condo. We highly recommend it. We have stayed on this beach in various condos for several years, and this is our favorite. It was our first time renting direct from an owner. We were a little concerned - just cause it was our first time, but Linda was very easy to work with, answered all of our questions and everything went perfectly. Linda and John have done a great job remodeling the condo. Just beautiful, both inside & out - you cannot find a better view. Also, wanted to mention the amenities on the property are very nice & very well maintained. We look forward to our next stay, mahalo Linda & John!!

  We stayed here over the Thansgiving 2012 holiday and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the Lanai and watching turtles and fish swimming below us in the water. One morning we even saw a school of dolphins go swimming and jumping by! The area was great and we enjoyed the shopping or just walking along the boardwalk up and down the shore. The condo was clean, well furnished and just plain comfortable to be in. We loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you John and Linda for having such a nice place!

  We love the Aston Mahana property because it is right on the ocean and in a very convenient location. Our last stay in a different room was plagued with people directly above us sliding the glass door to the lanai back and forth until 1:00 a.m. and then starting it all over again at 7:00 a.m. For that reason we searched for a top floor unit. The unit at 1204 was absolutely the BEST unit we have ever stayed at here. It was extremely quiet and furnished with all modern appliances as well as being stocked with EVERYTHING we needed for our stay. I especially liked the cipher lock where I could set my own code and did not have to be bothered by keeping up with cards. They have ice chests with blue ice in the freezer, beach chairs, iron, hair dryers, towels, etc. There is also 2 flat screen TV's, a CD player with an iPod dock, in-room high speed internet, a tray for taking breakfast/dinner out on the lanai. There is even 2 lights with individual controls over each side of the bed, which was very comfortable by the way. We truly felt at home and appreciate what the owner has done with the unit. The next time we come back, I will definitely book it here again. I found the owners to be extremely responsive to all of my questions and it was a pleasure renting from them. I highly recommend this unit to anyone who wants a nice place to stay during vacation.

  Thank you for sharing your condo with us. Everything was wonderful and exactly as you described. Our teen boys slept on the pullout couch and were comfortable. We loved being right at the ocean. We slept with the doors open every night. We had a fantastic stay.

  It has been a week since we came back, I could still hear waves. :) Having a oceanfront was definitely a must for a vacation with 4yr old twin boys and we had a fantastic time! It is a beautifully furnished condo unit with SPETACULAR view! My 4yr old boy said "Mom gasped when we came into the new home!" And indeed we felt at home. Between sigtseeing in the morning and beach/pool hopping in the afternoon, we have breakfast inside and dinner too. Boys are 3hr jetlagged and exhuasted from having too much fun, they would pass out around 6pm. We would then lunge on the balcony, sipping cocktails and watching sunset. I am very thankful for the fully equipped kitchen with even all kinds of seasonings. And thanks to previous renter who left rum and gin behind. LOL Our favorite place to eat is Mixed Plate. Very homemade Hawaiian food, good cocktails and relaxing atmosphere for family dining.

  We arrived late at night so we weren't able to appreciate how breathtaking the view was until we woke up the next morning. We had a wonderful time on our first trip to Maui and I didn't see one place that I'd rather stay than the Mahana. I loved being so close to the water and it was nice to have a kitchen and laundry facilities and room to spread out. The condo unit was quiet and we practically had the beach to ourselves. I would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

  Our first reaction was "Wow!" when we entered the condo for the first time, the condo is such a beautiful unit...we arrived after dark and didn't see the view until the next morning and we, as land-locked Albertans, we were blown-away. The view is incredible. Every time we looked we were able to see some type of sea life - dolphins (which I understand is a rare sighting in the area), whales as close as 150 yards from the beach, turtles, schools of fish, and even a monk seal one day! We really liked that you could access the lanai from both the living room and the bedroom. The condo was equipped with everything we needed, from a small cooler and ice packs in the freezer to a mixer and muffin tins to a rice steamer to a flash light (for crab spotting on the beach at night) to laundry detergent! A permanent resident of the complex also alerted us to a little herb garden beside the tennis courts that she is in charge of maintaining that is for resident and guest use! The condo was spotless and very well maintained. We were vacationing with a number of our family members who were either staying in the second building in the complex or other properties on either side of the condo complex (one older and one brand new) and it was agreed by all that our unit was the most beautiful and definitely had the best view! The condo was also within walking distance to a supermarket, a postal outlet, a convenience store, and restaurants (we really liked Duke's). We really enjoyed Fleming Beach and Napili Bay Beach - we also discovered the Honolua General Store very close to the Ritz that makes great fresh to order lunches for a great price to take to the beach. The owner of the condo was very quick to reply to any of my questions! We have already recommended this unit to our friends and family!

  We are here now on our last days and I have to tell you what a place!! Just like they describe all new everything and the view is spectacular. We watch the turtles and the whaleso the out the floor to ceiling windows and balcony. We paid for snorkeling trips but really you do not need to go anywhere but right down stairs. Skip Molikini it was a disappointment after we snorkeled here. We even saw an 8 ft. reef shark today. No fighting over lounge chairs there is plenty and spread out. Not on top of each other. There is everything you need and then some. There is a grocery store across the street. You should go to the condo first though. It is nice that they seem to leave salt, pepper and spices. We will let everyone we know about this secret hidaway. I am so happy we found this place. Awesome!!
