ALREADY TIRED OF WINTER? Start the new year out right. Spend January in the desert. Overlooking the 13th green and 14th and 15th holes, this pool home is located in the quiet gated Indian Springs Golf and Country Club. The home enjoys ever changing views of the Indio Hills and Joshua Tree to the north, beautiful sunrises in the east and brilliant sunsets over the San Jacinto Mountains in the West. Hot air balloons frequently dot the morning and evening sky, and snow caps distant mountains in winter.
The 2000 square foot home is available on a monthly basis only. It features a great room design. The spacious living room with soaring ceilings and expansive windows is furnished with comfortable upholstered pieces and a beautiful antique buffet. A gas fireplace sparkles on cool desert nights. All linens are supplied.
The patio offers comfortable seating and a gas barbeque. From the patio table, you can enjoy a great view of the lake located just behind the 13th green. Pool service is biweekly.
With rates generally below $100.00, the "Immaculate" Indian Springs golf course is considered one of the best public courses in the desert. It’s a great course for both the skilled player and the “high handicapper". Known for its immaculate conditions, you will love playing here. It is also convenient to many other popular courses, including PGA West, Trilogy, and Indian Wells. Indian Wells Tennis Stadium is just a few miles away. Shopping in the desert is always fun and interesting. Whether your taste runs to El Paseo, Old Town LaQuinta or the variety of “Big Box” stores along Highway 111, it is all conveniently located to Indian Springs. The desert has great public libraries. The libraries at La Quinta and Rancho Mirage are first class. Palm Springs museums are worth a visit, along with a drive to see the city’s mid-century architecture. McCallum Theater has something for every taste, from jazz to classical music and theater. Local casinos also offer excellent entertainment throughout the year. And finally, for a quick get away, the mountain towns of Idyllwild and Julian and the wine country of Temecula are an easy day trip.
Indian Springs offers residents a large heated pool, Jacuzzi and exercise room. The Indian Springs community is comprised of a mix of full and part time residents, ranging from young families drawn to the excellent nearby schools to retirees. It is community that prizes its quiet and well mannered neighbors of all ages. This is not a “party house”. To preserve this ambience, rentals are required to be for a minimum of one month. |
