Welcome to Weeping Willow Cottage. We take pride in being a vacation home that is affordable, comfortable and welcoming to children. You will find our cottage to be the perfect home away from home for a relaxed family holiday.
Features include kid-friendly leather furniture and easy-care laminate floors. The fully-equipped kitchen has seating for 6.
Children will enjoy having a room decorated with them in mind. They will find a variety of toys under their bunk beds, and children's books on their dresser. They will also enjoy the playhouse in the large fenced backyard.
An early morning walk to the beach is a great opportunity to view the neighbourhood deer. While on the beach, look for sand dollars, sea stars, crabs, heron and seals. Don't forget to take your complimentary coffee with you!
Parksville is a family-oriented community and many great attractions are only a few kilometres away. After your walk on the beach, head over to the Old Country Market in Coombs for a hearty breakfast. You'll be glad you got there early to beat the crowds. The goats on the roof and the funky merchandise will bring you back more than once during your stay. Please check the console table for information leaflets on all the things to do locally, or request tourism info by email at time of booking.
You'll find that Parksville is an ideal home base for visits to other parts of Vancouver Island. Within a few hours drive you can visit Victoria to the south, experience whale watching in Tofino to the west, and be amazed by the dinosaur skeletons in Courtenay to the north.

We love being so close to the beach. Our children look forward to every trip that we make to our little cottage. It is cosy and comfortable and just the right size. We have everything that we need there; certainly everything that we have at home, plus an amazing beach just down the road!
