A beautiful beach front setting with Lush Tropical landscaping and Spectacular Views awaits you. The resort is located in Kapaa on the East Shore of the island just 8 miles from the Lihue Airport. Travel to the South Shore (Poipu) and the North Shore (Princeville and Hanalei) is quite convenient.
The resort features a 2 acre state of the art lazy river/pool complete with two water slides, water falls, three sand bottomed whirlpool spas, a sand bottomed children's pool, a poolside snack bar, and the Tahitian Lanai Bar & Grill. There is a 5,000 square foot Aveda Lifestyle Salon/spa and Fitness Center. Everything you need to make your trip complete is within walking distance. Grocery shopping, a shopping mall, jogging paths, lengthy beach walks are all just steps away.
Our unit (#E205) is on the second floor of building E. It is a 1300 square foot 2 bedroom lavishly equipped vacation dream. The kitchen features a Wolf Cooktop and oven, a Fisher/Paykel dishwasher, huge stainless steel Sub-Zero refrigerator, microwave, premium granite countertops, and is fully stocked with appliances to prepare gourmet meals or a quick lunch. Each bedroom and the living room has a wall mounted plasma televisions.
The furniture and accessory package are a designer's dream. Each room opens onto balconies with breathtaking views of Kauai's awesome mountain range. The unit also is fully air-conditioned, contains a Whirlpool stacked washer and dryer and beautiful state of the art bathrooms.

Why the Owner Chose Waipouli
We were looking for property to buy to build equity in 11 to 15 years for our children's college education. We were also looking for a property that we would enjoy going to year after year ourselves, and that the children would grow up feeling it was theirs to take care of and enjoy. The children enjoyed the resort so much, they were very enthusiastic when they were asked if they wanted to go there every year.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Besides the pool, each visit includes several walks on the beach with the whole family. We always find something interesting to see, whether it is tide pools, or just the beautiful view of the ocean. We have not been disappointed yet by whatever we happen to see. Korina and Kristy also like to go to a local luau to help do the hula.

This is us in August of 2007 when we arrived on Kauai to look at the property at Waipouli. Owners (Fatima Gomez and Edward Fugate, husband and wife) are with children (from l. to r.) Korina, Kristy, and Isaac. We have always enjoyed traveling, and wanted to pass on this joy with our children. Hawaii seemed like the perfect place to start a family tradition of traveling together to a place we all look forward to going to.

The condo is beautiful and the pool area is great. Our condo had a mountain view which really was Kuhio Highway and we really wished we had an ocean view for when we sat out on the balcony. There didn't seem to be a lot of guests while we were there, so it was quiet and getting a chair at the pool was never an issue as they were plentiful. The beach is pretty, but really not swimmable due to the rocks. We used one of the grills to cook out one evening and if they are all being used, people happily share grill space. The fitness center is small but has good machines and is very nice. Directly across the street and easily walkable with a couple of grocery bags in hand is a shopping center and several fast food places. The Oasis on the Beach restaurant on site is only open in the late afternoon for happy hour and dinner. The dinner menu is brief and expensive, but I tried dishes I would never have ordered other places and they were delicious. We ate breakfast at Eggbert's in the Coconut Marketplace down the road and had their banana-macadamia nut pancakes with a side of portugese sausage. We went back a second time as it was so good. the location of the resort is great as it is in the middle of everything we did. We kayaked the Wailua River and drove to Ke'e Beach and hiked to the Na Pali Coast. We had a great trip.

We had an awesome time in Kauai and this condo was absolutely perfect in every way! It was a hasselfree process booking with the owners and when we arrived we found it to be very clean, quiet and had a very luxurious feel with the high end appliances, beautiful decor, three flat screen TVs and three bathrooms! We enjoyed coming "home" every day after exploring the island. The central location of the condo made it easy to explore both the north and south shores of the Kauai. The pool area was fantastic for everyone in the the family! The kids loved the lazy river shape of the pool as well as the waterslides and waterfalls. The adults enjoyed the hot tubs in the evening, not to mention all the deck chairs, BBQs and exceptionally well kept grounds. A definite must stay for anyone wanting to visit Kauai! We will most definitely return and won't hesitate in booking here again as well as recommending it to all our friends and family. If you are looking for a perfect condo that will not disappoint...this is the one!

We stayed here in mid May and had a great time. The condo and all facilities are beautiful. Pool area was great and beach was fantastic. No crowds anywhere on the property and we were always able to find four lounge chairs together at the pool or near the beach. BBQs are great. Location is terrific base to see all areas of the island. We spent a day on each side of the island. Owners are great and made the whole process very easy for us. Can't wait to visit again (this time with the kids).

I was at this property in May of 2010 with my family of four, as well as my parents. The condo was spacious and well appointed such that we all had enough space and were very comfortable. I would definetely stay at this property again, as it has all the key ingredients for a great stay. It is on the beach (while not swimable, good enough for playing on the shore with the kiddos), the pool is awesome (lazy river style and it has a zero entry area which little kids will love), it is immaculately clean (both the condo and property), and it is well located across the street from a number of conveniences (ABC Store, Safeway, Starbucks, Panda Express, Drug Store, etc.). We also did a HoloHolo Catamaran snorkel tour up the Napali Coast, worth the money, it was awesome - not for little kids. Also, Lydgate Park is a 5 min drive from this property. This park is awesome, especially if you are a novice snorkeler or have young kids, as there are two protected man-made lagoons that have no waves. Bathrooms/showers/tables/shade are all accessible. This condo met all our expectations. Only gripes are the lighting is a little dim in the living and laundry area. I still give it 5 stars! Aloha.

Spent a week in Kauai in Feb '10 and had a wonderful time. Condo was beautiful and we absolutely loved the pool. Had heard the water in the lazy river was cool, but they must have started to heat it now as it was the perfect temperature. Sand bottomed hot tubs were a nice way to finish off the day. Only had 2 BBQ's going but the resort was in the midst of building concrete BBQ pits. (if the contractor doesn't get fired first :)) Location was perfect with Safeway across the street as well as our nightly walk to McDonalds to indulge in their "carmel Frappe" which we don't have in the Canada yet. Close to Coconut Marketplace and generally central for the entire island. Toured all over and would definitely stay in this location again. Can't wait to go back!

We just returned from Kauai. What a fabulous condo and resort. It was everything the site shows and more. Thanks for the use of your condo, we are looking forward to returning next year. The place is comfortable, high class and well equiped. The beds are very comfortable and the condo is 5 Star. The resort is fabulous, the staff is friendly and very helpful. We had such a fantastic time at this condo. It was very spacious and very well furnished. My kids were thrilled that it also had an "Ihome". The kitchen was very high class and I loved cooking in it. The outdoor amenities were also very nice - the kids(sorry I meant teenagers) loved the pool. It is very conveniently located - easy access to the north part of the island as well as the south and close to groceries, restaurants, farmers markets etc. The owners were also very responsive in our communications. Would definitely look into renting this place again in a heartbeat.

First time to the Hawiian islands ever. Kauai was a great choice. Choosing Ed and Fatima's condo was the second best choice. We also have never rented a condo before. Our first experience was just plain fantastic. The accommodations were the best ever. Comming back to a wonderful clean ,comfortable, beautiful place after all our Kauai excursions made our vacation all the more wonderful.WE still have some unfinished adventures to lure us back. Our whole family enjoyed staying at this Condo. You could not ask for a better location as far as getting around the Island, and the Condo itself is Class AAA+. Food, gas, rentals, shopping, etc... all easy access. Great Pool, beach and more. Don't think twice about staying here, you won't be dissapointed. Mark
