This place exceded our expectations. The resort is stunning with a vast reception area overlooking centre court acreage and fab ocean vista. The condo was appointed beautifully, was spotlessly clean, and offered shared space and privacy enough for the five of us. In-suite laundry was extremely convenient, the kitchen was a dream to work in, and with Safeway and ABC across the street, we could not have been situated more advantageously. (BTW one of the ladies at ABC has a daughter who dances hula and sells GORGEOUS fresh leis for $5 apiece - AND they will drop it off them off at ABC for you!!!!) The beach gear that can be found in the closet in the second bedroom was really handy as we spent a good deal of our time checking out beaches from one end of the island to the other. I should mention that the beds were very comfortable, and the lanais off of the bedrooms are just so lovely to sit and enjoy a coffee of beverage on in morning and evening hours. I had the good fortune to spend 2 weeks in the Grand Hyatt on Poipu a year before. The Grand Hyatt has been identified as one of the top 500 hotels in the world. I would tell you that I enjoyed the condo and all of its amenities much more than I enjoyed the Grand Hyatt, and I LOVED the Grand Hyatt! We took in a lot of activities while on Kauai. Horseback riding at CJM, Scuba with Fathom Five, Whale Watching, Smith Family Luau (food fab - show, a little au fromage but still fun), and we lived by the Ultimate Guide to Kauai's beach and hiking guides. We hand fed tropical fish everywhere we snorkeled, (tip - little fish attract BIG fish! - another tip - don't use spray sunscreen on the beach as the wind will always be stirring and you can't get the coverage you need)! I have recommended this condo to all family and friends, and any of my clients who have any interest in a visit to Hawaii will most definitely hear about it! Beautiful resort

The condo is beautiful and the pool area is great. Our condo had a mountain view which really was Kuhio Highway and we really wished we had an ocean view for when we sat out on the balcony. There didn't seem to be a lot of guests while we were there, so it was quiet and getting a chair at the pool was never an issue as they were plentiful. The beach is pretty, but really not swimmable due to the rocks. We used one of the grills to cook out one evening and if they are all being used, people happily share grill space. The fitness center is small but has good machines and is very nice. Directly across the street and easily walkable with a couple of grocery bags in hand is a shopping center and several fast food places. The Oasis on the Beach restaurant on site is only open in the late afternoon for happy hour and dinner. The dinner menu is brief and expensive, but I tried dishes I would never have ordered other places and they were delicious. We ate breakfast at Eggbert's in the Coconut Marketplace down the road and had their banana-macadamia nut pancakes with a side of portugese sausage. We went back a second time as it was so good. the location of the resort is great as it is in the middle of everything we did. We kayaked the Wailua River and drove to Ke'e Beach and hiked to the Na Pali Coast. We had a great trip.

Excellent Accommodations - November 2010

We had an awesome time in Kauai and this condo was absolutely perfect in every way! It was a hasselfree process booking with the owners and when we arrived we found it to be very clean, quiet and had a very luxurious feel with the high end appliances, beautiful decor, three flat screen TVs and three bathrooms! We enjoyed coming "home" every day after exploring the island. The central location of the condo made it easy to explore both the north and south shores of the Kauai. The pool area was fantastic for everyone in the the family! The kids loved the lazy river shape of the pool as well as the waterslides and waterfalls. The adults enjoyed the hot tubs in the evening, not to mention all the deck chairs, BBQs and exceptionally well kept grounds. A definite must stay for anyone wanting to visit Kauai! We will most definitely return and won't hesitate in booking here again as well as recommending it to all our friends and family. If you are looking for a perfect condo that will not disappoint...this is the one!

Wonderful time at Waipouli Beach Resort

We stayed here in mid May and had a great time. The condo and all facilities are beautiful. Pool area was great and beach was fantastic. No crowds anywhere on the property and we were always able to find four lounge chairs together at the pool or near the beach. BBQs are great. Location is terrific base to see all areas of the island. We spent a day on each side of the island. Owners are great and made the whole process very easy for us. Can't wait to visit again (this time with the kids).

Waipouli Beach Resort and Spa Condo Review

I was at this property in May of 2010 with my family of four, as well as my parents. The condo was spacious and well appointed such that we all had enough space and were very comfortable. I would definetely stay at this property again, as it has all the key ingredients for a great stay. It is on the beach (while not swimable, good enough for playing on the shore with the kiddos), the pool is awesome (lazy river style and it has a zero entry area which little kids will love), it is immaculately clean (both the condo and property), and it is well located across the street from a number of conveniences (ABC Store, Safeway, Starbucks, Panda Express, Drug Store, etc.). We also did a HoloHolo Catamaran snorkel tour up the Napali Coast, worth the money, it was awesome - not for little kids. Also, Lydgate Park is a 5 min drive from this property. This park is awesome, especially if you are a novice snorkeler or have young kids, as there are two protected man-made lagoons that have no waves. Bathrooms/showers/tables/shade are all accessible. This condo met all our expectations. Only gripes are the lighting is a little dim in the living and laundry area. I still give it 5 stars! Aloha.

The condo was really beautiful--nice high end furniture and appliances. More than enough room for two couples. Beds were very comfortable. Unit was clean. We rate it excellent in terms of value, convenience and comfort.

Spent a week in Kauai in Feb '10 and had a wonderful time. Condo was beautiful and we absolutely loved the pool. Had heard the water in the lazy river was cool, but they must have started to heat it now as it was the perfect temperature. Sand bottomed hot tubs were a nice way to finish off the day. Only had 2 BBQ's going but the resort was in the midst of building concrete BBQ pits. (if the contractor doesn't get fired first :)) Location was perfect with Safeway across the street as well as our nightly walk to McDonalds to indulge in their "carmel Frappe" which we don't have in the Canada yet. Close to Coconut Marketplace and generally central for the entire island. Toured all over and would definitely stay in this location again. Can't wait to go back!

We just returned from Kauai. What a fabulous condo and resort. It was everything the site shows and more. Thanks for the use of your condo, we are looking forward to returning next year. The place is comfortable, high class and well equiped. The beds are very comfortable and the condo is 5 Star. The resort is fabulous, the staff is friendly and very helpful. First time to the Hawiian islands ever. Kauai was a great choice. Choosing Ed and Fatima's condo was the second best choice. We also have never rented a condo before. Our first experience was just plain fantastic. The accommodations were the best ever. Comming back to a wonderful clean ,comfortable, beautiful place after all our Kauai excursions made our vacation all the more wonderful.WE still have some unfinished adventures to lure us back. Our whole family enjoyed staying at this Condo. You could not ask for a better location as far as getting around the Island, and the Condo itself is Class AAA+. Food, gas, rentals, shopping, etc... all easy access. Great Pool, beach and more. Don't think twice about staying here, you won't be dissapointed. Mark

We had such a fantastic time at this condo. It was very spacious and very well furnished. My kids were thrilled that it also had an "Ihome". The kitchen was very high class and I loved cooking in it. The outdoor amenities were also very nice - the kids(sorry I meant teenagers) loved the pool. It is very conveniently located - easy access to the north part of the island as well as the south and close to groceries, restaurants, farmers markets etc. The owners were also very responsive in our communications. Would definitely look into renting this place again in a heartbeat.

Great place and time, even in bad weather

Beautiful and comfortable condo! During our stay the tradewinds were strong hitting the East side - creating high seas. It was really nice to not battle the winds while sitting on the peaceful lanai. We really enjoyed the space and very comfy beds. We used the pool and spas everyday. The staff were very sweet and helpful. It was convenient to be mid-island, close to shops and resturants, and easy to explore the North or South end beaches. Kauai is really an amazing island. Thanks for making our trip so easy! We hope we can plan another trip.

This condo and resort is a 10!!! The unit is so nicely furnished and fully equipped. Better than any place we have stayed. Everything is new and very, Very clean! There is enough plates, cups, silverware, cookware etc that you are not constantly washing dishes. Anyone who has stayed at a lot of condos knows exactly what I mean by this comment. The pool was such a treat. It was perfect for our kids (5 to 5mths). The zero depth sand beach entry to the 3 foot area to the water slides, every kids who loves water will love this pool. We spent every day from 10-4 pm at the pool and the kids never got bored. My oldest kept saying his cousins would sure love this pool, can we bring them to Hawaii with us? Ed and Fatima were excellent to deal with. They made it very easy to make our vacation a success. We would highly recommend this rental!!!

We just got back from Kauai in November and absolutely loved our stay at the Waipouli Beach Resort. The condo was top notch and perfect for our family of four. The kids loved the pool and we enjoyed walking along the beach. The location is also great with a shopping center across the street and easy access to the north and south sides of the island. We would definitely stay here again!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Waipouli Resort in October of 2008 . The condo is beautiful. Well equipeed with the latest appliances. It is spacious, clean and everything we needed was included. The resort is located across from a major shopping area very convient for all our needs. The resort is on the ocean with a nice beach and a lovely circular pool. We were met by the real estate agent and she helped us to get settled in the unit. I would not hesistate to recommend this unit for anyone wanting to stay in Kauai Overall, it was a great vacation in a supberb condo in Paradise.

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful Waipouli Beach Resort condo. It was the most beautiful, convenient and fun place our family has stayed. It was a short drive from the airport, across the street from shopping and dining, alongside a beautiful and empty beach with lots of sea life, and the pool was perfect for all the members of our family from newborn and toddler to us parents! The condo was beautifully furnished and immaculate. The full size washer and dryer was so convenient and the kitchen was to die for! We enjoyed eating breakfast on the lanai and my son had a blast in your bath that opened up through a window to the bedroom (which also made it convenient to watch him for safety reasons). Of course, my husband loved all 3 flat screen TVs in each room and our kids appreciated the pool toys available in the condo. I cannot say enough about your condo except to say we can't wait to go again. Definitely our favorite place to stay in all of the Hawaiian Islands!!

Awesome...is the best way to describe this property. The condo is absolutely high class. Our kids LOVED the pool, (buy pool tubes across the street for $2.99) we loved the beach, and even the restaurant by the water. I would give this place an A+. (I'm a teacher!) The mattress was so comfortable that we actually wrote down the brand name! Flat screen TV's were a bonus. Ed and Fatima were a pleasure to deal with too!
