This is a great find hidden on a secluded street behind a secret gate. When you enter the gate a large front yard greets you with its flowers, trees and neatly manicured yard.
It is just 3 blocks from the village in a quiet neighborhood. The house was just fully remodeled before the family moved. It feels like a Martha's Vineyard home with its architecture, and east coast antiques. It is definitley an comfortable house for those with great tastes.
The kitchen is ready with ample supplies. The dining room is set for 8 formally or informally out on the deck. The living room has many great literary finds to read next to the fireplace. The family room has a built in HD TV for great viewing. One bedroom is also a fully equipped office for those who can't leave work behind. It has a queen sofa bed and TV. The master, with walk in closets, has a queen bed and french doors to the deck. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds and a TV with cable. The 3ed bedroom has a queen bed with a view to the lush lawn and garden. Each of those bedrooms have a bathroom next door. In between the bathrooms is a full laundry area. A 2 car garage is included.
We have just opened the house up for rentals and the first 2 sets of guests signed up for repeat visits. We have 100% satisfaction. The house is so comfortable that you are enveloped by the homes' warmth. Come and see for yourself!

Short walk to the beach!

I could not have enjoyed my stay any more than I did at this lovely, secluded home in La Jolla. The property is well stocked & very clean. It was nicely furnished with all the amenities you need. The rooms are spacious with plenty of sitting space in the multiple living areas. Lots of linens are provided and each bathroom was nicely appointed. You’ll enjoy the Master Suite for extra privacy and relaxation.
Situated in a nice neighborhood with lots of privacy, the home is just a short walk to the beach. Garage space was plentiful and the owner provided beach cruiser bikes for our convenience.
This property is nicely taken care of with wonderful updates. If plan to visit La Jolla, you’ll find all the comfort and convenience you’re looking for in this secluded cottage style home.

I simply loved staying at this home. It was so cozy and inviting. Very clean when I arrived, and very quiet for my relaxing trip. I enjoied using the back deck to have a family dinner, and the enclosed front yard was perfect for my kids to run around and play. My husband was very impressed with the extensive collection of books in the house, as well as the comfort of the beds. My kids had a great time using the boogie boards from the house at the beach. Southern California Vacation Rentals supplied us with everything we needed for our vacation at the house, including a high chair for my 13 month old and grocery delivery. This was great because I didn't have to worry about driving too much. La Jolla is such a wonderful place to visit, I am already planning our next trip to La Jolla and we will be staying at Martha's Vineyard.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers.
