This cozy North Shore 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage has recently been completely refurbished and now offers new floors, granite counters, new appliances, ceiling fans in every room, new carpeting as well as free WIFI, a new flat screen TV, DVD, Ipod hookup to the stereo and its own Washer and Dryer. Private parking lot for 2 or 3 cars.
The cottage is located on a nice ocean side lot along with it's larger "sister" home, which is situated directly overlooking the world famous Waimea Bay. Nearby is the best snorkeling, diving and children's beach on the island, Three Tables Beach and Sharks Cove. Foodland, the North Shore's major super market and Starbucks are close by.
The beautiful garden surrounding the cottage consists of large palms, plumerias and gardenias. The lush landscaping separates and provides privacy for both homes. The cottage has a big outdoor deck with a dining table that seats six. In addition to the 2 full indoor bathrooms, there's a nice outdoor shower to use to wash the sand off after coming back from the beach. Come relax in this wonderful cottage on world famous North Shore where you can surf, snorkel, jet ski, ocean kayak or just kick back and enjoy your Mai Tai or iced coffee from Starbucks. We have bicycles that you can rent for your stay. We provide all the towels, umbrellas, beach chairs and everything you need for a stress free vacation.

Lovely cottage and situated perfectly. We rented the bicycles and there is a path that is relatively flat. We were able to ride to Ted's Bakery for breakfast and of course a slice of their wonderful pies. On the way back, we stopped to watch the surf contest at Sunset. And it's located within walking or biking distan e of one of the few groceries stores in the area. A lovely retreat from all the hustle and bustle.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway.

A group of two couples spent a 1-week vacation in Waimea Cottage in September 2011. The location was great, just a few steps away from the Waimea Beach and the Waimea Beach Park with the waterfall. We also loved the Sunset Beach which is just a short drive from the cottage with the great surfing waves and the spectacular sunsets. In the neighboring bay we also found the sea turtles swimming just a few feet from the shore. During our stay we explored the whole island and would say that if you are looking for a hide away from the big city this property would be a great choice. The cottage was very well stocked and the maintenance guy visited us twice to make sure that everything was fine and we don't need anything else. We truly loved our stay there and if we decide to go to Hawaii again (despite the 26 hours flight that we had from Bulgaria) we would pick the same place.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

Loved staying on the north shore. Beautiful beach was 50 steps away from front gate. Sunset Beach and Wiamea Bay were less 10 min away House is walking distance to grocery store and Starbucks. Coming from hot Texas I was concerned about not having AC but was very cool in the evenings with breeze thru house. All rooms have ceiling fans. House was clean and beds very comfy. Kitchen has all you need to cook with some condiments. Bathrooms stocked with towels. Even has beach towels n chairs for guests. Would definitely come back to the north shore! Loved this house.

After staying in Waikiki last year we wanted a different experience to share with our children ages 12 to 18. This cottage was the perfect place. The location is amazing. It's only one house away from Three Tables Beach and within walking distance of Sharks Cove and Waimea Bay. We were able to visit the beaches in the morning before anyone else was there and we never had to worry about parking. Foodland is across the street so the kids could walk to the store by themselves. The cottage is comfortable but not fancy. We loved the outdoor shower and washer dryer. I was a little concerned when we unlocked the house for the fist time because it was hot inside and there is no air conditioning but once we opened all the windows and turned the fans on it cooled off quickly. We were able to learn to surf at Chun's Reef right down the road and we swam with the turtles at the Laniakea Beach. There were people staying in the house that fronts the ocean but that was never annoying or uncomfortable (we didn't want a place where the owners were living right there watching us the entire time). We LOVED our stay at the Waimea Bay Cottage. The only bad part was having to leave when the week was over.

We (two couples) stayed at the Waimea Bay Beach Cottage July 27-30. Cottage was clean and well stocked. Bedrooms/bathrooms were layed out to give both couples plenty of privacy. You cannot beat the location, nestled between two gorgeous beaches with an easy walk to both, and a short drive to groceries/shopping/etc. We will certainly be back!
