This Home Is Located At the Base of the Thunder Head High Speed Quad which is approx 500 Vertical feet above the Main Base Area. This is a Powder Hound's Dream! From the front door of this house you have the option of skiing down a small private trail which connects to a trail leading to Steamboat's Silver Bullet Gondola or taking the two minute walk to the Thunder Head High Speed Quad, the preferred choice. From Thunderhead You May Also Ski to the Base. At Thunder Head You Are Practically GUARANTEED NO LIFT LINES AS THERE IS NO PUBLIC PARKING AT THE CHAIR LIFT. Best of all this chair drops you off at the same location as the gondola does!
As For Night Life, You are a few minute drive to the Steamboat Base Area. Where you can enjoy anything from fine dining to pub fare and live music or simply walk around Ski Time Square and enjoy a variety of shops.

The Unique Benefits at this House
It is a ski in / ski out location at a world class ski area, Steamboat Springs, CO situated beside a high speed quad lift with no public parking.
This is a high speed quad on Steamboat Ski Area. There is no public parking here and therefore has very minimal lines early in the morning. The lift takes you to the same spot as the Silver Bullet Gondola.
Steamboat Ski Area Base. This is where the gondola is and also a variety of stores and restaurants.

My family stayed here the week before Christmas, 2011. We had a great time and the location is great! Walking a short distance to the lift was so much better than having to wait on the Gondola. You are farther up the mountain and have a head start on everyone else. Ski conditions weren't the best because there just wasn't enough snow! We enjoyed the house, pool table, large TV and coziness. The owners are the managers and they are very welcoming and helpful to work with. If you want comfort and a large amount of square footage for your money, this is the house to rent!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children.
