Legendary Arapahoe Basin Ski Area is 5 minutes up the road and Breckenridge Ski Resort is a quick 15 minute drive. There are a large variety of restaurants within walking distance, both for families and adults alike. The extensive Outlets at Silverthorne are close and provide abundant shopping while nearby Keystone Lake becomes one of the world’s largest zamboni-maintained skating rinks. A full 5 acres of frozen lake turns into one of the best places for the whole family to play with hockey rinks built in and skate rentals. If you don’t get in enough skiing during the day, night skiing at Keystone makes it the only place in Colorado where you can see the sunset on a pair of skis while cruising down a freshly groomed run.
