The Villas at Walton Creek are located in the mountain village at the base of the ski area in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. This second floor unit, with breathtaking views of Mount Werner, features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a one-car heated garage.
This unit was completely refurnished by the new owners in the fall of 2011--new carpeting and repainting of the living and dining rooms and new window treatments in the living room and second bedroom. New furniture throughout was installed in the fall of 2007. The condominium features vaulted ceilings, ceiling fans in the living room and master bedroom, an open great room with kitchen, dining and living areas. The living room has a gas fireplace, and private balcony with sliding doors.
Additional features to enjoy include flat screen televisions, high-speed Internet connection and an on-site hot tub, just steps from the door. The fully-stocked kitchen has all the appliances, dishes and utensils needed, and there is an in-unit washer and dryer.
The Villas are located directly across the street from the free city shuttle, which takes guests to the ski area base or into town every 20 minutes. In high-season, the bus runs to 2:00 am. A 10-minute walk up Burgess Creek takes you to the base of the mountain.
Steamboat Springs can be enjoyed year round--from world-class skiing, boarding and snowmobiling in the winter, to hiking, horseback riding and tubing down the Yampa in the summer. Come see why life is "better in the 'Boat!"

This condo in Steamboat is by far one of the best vacation homes my wife and I have stayed in. It is kept immaculately clean, is decorated very tastefully, is perfectly functional in every way, and was simply a joy to return to after each day of skiing. Every detail described here on VRBO is accurate, and it's obvious that the owners take great pride in their home away from home. They were extremely professional, courteous, and timely in all correspondence with my wife and I, and all matters of payment and contract signing were easy and straight forward. My wife and I stayed here six nights, and prepared meals almost every night in the well-equipped kitchen. The living room is perfect, with seemingly brand new sofas looking right into the warmly lit fireplace. The master bed is just absolutely comfy -- oh did we sleep well! I highly recommend staying here -- it's a beautiful condo, only a short walk to the awesome jacuzzi, and a short walk to the bus stop which we used to go skiing every day, as well as venture out for dinner one evening and into town. Overall rating: A+ Stay here -- you'll love it!
