What's absolutely wonderful about Cerca del Cielo is it's location. While you are right on the ocean in the Mexican Carribean, you are only a 5-15 minute walk to almost any activity in downtown Cozumel. Perfect privacy yet shopping, restaurants, bars/clubs, dive shops, vehicle rentals, and more are only minutes away. For food, libations, or last minute items you might have forgotten, Chedraui, (Cozumel's Super Wal Mart) is right across the street. And if you're looking for a fine dining experience, you need go no further than the Wynston on the top floor or enjoy their room service.
Sometimes direct flights into the Cozumel airport can be difficult to find or are seemingly expensive. The Cancun airport offers a number of other options. Buses to Playa del Carmen leave every hour where you'll catch a ferry over to the island. With customs, expect an additional 3 hours travel time if you fly into Cancun.
