Completely updated 2 bed / 2 bath 1300+ square foot - single level - condo with south facing patio overlooking the first fairway and the mountains and sits on a quiet dead-end street, without seeing any other condos - nor with anyone above you! This is the most coveted location in all of Monterey CC. The picture to the left is the view from our patio and living room!
This beautiful home underwent a "To the Studs" Remodel during the Summer/Fall of 2007. It is equipped with Toll Free Calling throughout North America (Canadians take note!), as well as wireless broadband Internet access and even a 37" 1080p HDTV. These features are not found in most units. If you are renting a condo for a month, why not have the BEST view, have UNLIMITED long distance calls across the US and CANADA, have WIRELESS BROADBAND and watch a 1080p HDTV with DVD player.
Designer remodeled with new porcelain tile floors throughout, a new kitchen complete with custom maple cabinets, new stainless appliances (including side by side fridge with through-the-door ice and water, ceran cook top, a wall oven/micro combo, dishwasher, new sink, faucet and even an insta-hot and hood fan). We even thought of under cabinet lighting and newly coved ceiling and recessed spot lamps in this dream kitchen.
We also chose to put matching maple cabinets and granite counters in both the main bath and master bath – with its porcelain/granite shower and frame less glass door. With fresh paint throughout as well as new ceilings, and quality upgrades down to even matching brushed nickel door handles and hinges. This is a gorgeous home awaiting the discriminating vacation renter.
Tasteful new living, dining, kitchen furniture and original artwork compliment the updates with ample kitchen cookware, bake ware, dish ware and all new small appliances too. The living room has a designer sectional as well as beautiful glass coffee / end / sofa tables, a stereo and a 37' 1080P HDTV with expanded digital cable. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is something not found in many units, check around. You are here for at least two weeks, why be stuck watching regular TV?.
There are custom built ins for the entertainment center surrounding a gas fireplace. The dining room boasts a glass dining table which comfortably seats six people.
The master bedroom has a California King bed with a very comfortable mattress as well as a dresser and high boy, night stands and a TV (also with expanded basic cable and HBO). The 2nd bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and two dressers and a nightstand and TV with cable too. There are all new sheets, blankets, pillows and towels for the beds and baths.
After parking your car in the two car attached garage, and entering though the private gated front courtyard, you enter into the condo in the formal tile entryway. Immediately in front of you is the high-vaulted living room with a gas fireplace and floor to ceiling sliding doors, allowing sweeping views of the fairway and mountains and access to the south facing, over sized patio. This same view is also in the adjacent brand new cook’s kitchen with an informal eating area, as well as another slider to the patio, and a granite pass-thru for outside dining.
The formal dining room is adjacent the living room / kitchen area with soaring vaults and opens to the inside peaceful atrium.
The master suite also opens to the atrium with large sliding glass doors, and boasts three closets, and the updated porcelain and granite bathroom too. There is also a 2nd bedroom with a large closet, and the master bathroom with a tub/shower combination.
For comfort in the hot weather, we have custom automatic awnings with motion sensors to allow for 100% shade on the patio.
This unit comes with a washer & dryer as well as a newer efficient forced air gas furnace, fast refreshing gas hot water, ceiling fans and central air conditioning. Monterey Country Club is a guard gated exclusive community located just north of the College of the Desert with its popular weekend open air market, and is the ideal central location for the whole Coachella valley allowing easy travel time to both Palm Springs or La Quinta.
Just up Monterey Ave from the famed shopping and restaurants of El Paseo and we're only a 2-3 minute ride to the Westfield Mall with Macy’s and even a Nordstroms on the way! It is a 5-7 minute ride to the “River” a newer destination in Rancho Mirage for dining, movies and shopping. There is an Albertsons, Rite Aid, Costo and other shops within a couple of miles too. Monterey CC has north and south access roads (both guard gated) and is surrounded by its own 27 hole golf course (not included in rental).
For recreation, right across the street in front of our home is one of 38 pools as well as an in ground spa. Many people walk all over the country club where you can feel safe and secure and enjoy nice views.
We ask that you come and stay at our home where you will feel very comfortable entertaining your friends in it’s pleasant and classy environment, but we also ask you to leave your cigarettes, cigars and pets at home so we can all enjoy staying there more.
We are newly empty nester Pacific Northwest snowbirds from Portland, Oregon and this is our Desert home which we rent out. With this home we planned and contracted the remodel for ourselves to occasionally enjoy as well as for you too. We hope you stay at our home and enjoy it as much as we do.

Why the Owner Chose Monterey Country Club
We love the desert, and think Monterey Country Club is about the most ideal location in the Coachella Valley. It's equi-distant from La Quinta to Palm Springs, and is just one block from College of the Desert and it's Saturday/Sunday market, as well as just a few blocks from all the famous shopping on El Paseo.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Our unit was chosen by us due to the proximity listed above and also because it's one of only 8 units (out of 1200+) that back to the golf course, to the south and do not look at any other condos at all. So its totally private and yet looking across the fairway you see nothing but palm trees and mountains. It gets dead on sun all day, and has automated awnings to provide shade.
