This home was perfect for our first family vacation with 2 small children (8m and 2yr8m)! The house is even better than the pictures show, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and clean and very nicely appointed bathrooms. We enjoyed our meals in the bright, sunny dining area, and cooking and clean-up was easy with the modern and large kitchen. Everything in the house was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The back deck was perfect for grilling and eating. We hit the Kittery outlets, both Short Sands and Long Sands beaches, drove in to Boston for the Children's Museum and Aquarium and enjoyed being in this very picturesque area. We walked down to the lighthouse, stopping at the ice cream stand on the way and enjoyed a meal at Fox's Lobster House right next to the lighthouse. The free wifi was great for keeping tabs on business through out the week and the with two kids the washer and dryer were one of our favorite amenities. The owners were very professional and courteous and answered any questions we had. Our 2 year old wore a permanent smile all 7 days and our 8 month old pulled to stand for the first time..great memories and a great vacation! All others will be compared to this!

This is an amazing home! Very clean, and family friendly. The home is even better than the photos show! We loved that is was so close to the beach and at the same time very quiet. Eric (owner) was amazing. We were there in the hurricane and he made sure the house was buttoned up safe as well as came the day after the storm to put back all the furniture and grill. Very friendly and kind. We definitely hope to be able to go back next year. This trip gave our family a much needed amount of time to be together. It has been a rough year loosing 3 grandparents and 2 close friends. This opportunity gave our family a very special time to bond and have closure. We were stress free and care free. The best way to be. Definitely must go to place.

We are so glad we made our choice to stay at this house - it was everything the listing description said it was - VERY CLEAN and comfortable place. We love the area it has everything you would want in a vacation near the beach. We had our parents come for a few days and there was plenty of room - We also have a 6 year old son and we walked to Nubble lighthouse every day and we walked or biked most days to the beach - we had our coffee out on the second floor deck in the rocking chairs every morning which we could see the ocean it was so peaceful we cant wait to go again. The owner was so helpful - my husband couldnt get online when we arrived and quick phone call and he was up and running with his laptop - I even left some items behind and he shipped them to me at no charge! We would recommend this to house to anyone!

Upon arrival at this lovely Maine home, our family knew immediately it was going to be a perfect place for us. There was plenty of room for the ten of us (six adults and 3 children) to sleep, eat, relax, watch TV, and play games inside as well as outside. The 3 bedrooms with queen size beds were very comfortable and the loft area turned out to be a great place for 3 of the children to sleep. We took most of our food for the week and found lots of cupboard and refrigerator space for storage. The house is very clean as well as having tasteful decor. Because of the short distance to Short Sands beach, we were able to come and go frequently without parking issues. The adult men had a good 1/2 day of striper fishing. The owners provided excellent customer service. We had one minor problem when we arrived. After contacting the owner, the problem was taken care of immediately. We loved this Maine home and would come back!

We rented this house for a long weekend to celebrate our daughter's graduation. The house is beautifully decorated. We had plenty of room for 10 people. The kitchen was fantastic for preparing for a party. The owner was so responsive. He came over & set up the grill and lobster pot for us with very little notice. We loved walking around York, despite the cold rainy weather. We would definitely rent this house again. Thank you!

We made ourselves at home upon arrival. The boys (both 4 1/2) played ball in the back, their cousins taught them ding-dong-ditch (since banned), we grilled on the deck, friends & family came to visit, drinks on the upstairs deck.... What an excellent location! A quick and beautiful walk to Short Sands beach where the boys chased seagulls, collected shells and enjoyed the playground. The 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms were ideal for entertaining. Our boys slept in the loft. The TV in the loft made for nice lazy mornings. The washer and dryer in the first floor bath were perfect! The kitchen is a terrific size for entertaining the masses. My husband really enjoyed the sound system in the family room. Jimmy Buffett sounds even better in surround sound. Thank you for a spectacular end of summer vacation. We did have a hard time explaining to our children that this was someone else's home we were borrowing. They want to move to York Beach for good! I don't blame them :)

My entire family just returned from our first vacation together since Grandchildren entered the picture. This was the perfect house for all of us. The bedroom and bath with the washer and dryer on the first floor was perfect. Plenty of room for everyone. The second floor balcony was delightful for our evening glass of wine together. Even though the afternoons were warm there were plenty of fans and a wonderful breeze throughout all the rooms. The open floor plan worked so well. The Grandchildren (ages 3 1/2 and 17 months) enjoyed the beaches and the zoo, while all of us enjoyed the town and the wonderful shopping. Plenty to do. Other towns short drive away also fun. I would recommend this house to anyone young or young at heart for a get away. Great place to run, walk or bike ride.

We spent a week at this lovely newer home earlier this summer. We have 2 small children, ages 3 and 5, who had a blast playing at the beach, in the tidal pools and eating ice cream at Brown's. The house was comfortable, clean and within easy walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. Their is a large flat front yard for outside games and tossing the football. Overall, we would highly recommend this property to those seeking a relaxing and affordable holiday. In fact, our children keep asking to go back to 'their beach house'.

My wife and two children (ages 2 and 3) just spent a week in this beautiful home and would absolutely consider coming back. The house was bright and airy, which kept the house comfortable even as temperatures exceeded 80 the entire length of our stay. It's a short walk to the center of town (<3/4 mi), short sands beach, or nubble light. The yard was nicely maintained and big enough to tire out two toddlers. Almost as important, the owner was a pleasure to deal with. We had one brief technology issue which resolved itself - but not before he offered to stop by and help us remedy the situation. He was also kind enough to FedEx some clothes that were mistakenly left behind. Having dealt with owners in the past who were not only unhelpful but unscrupulous, this is no small matter to me.

My family and I just returned home this evening from a weekend at this York Beach rental home...The photo's of this unit do not do this house justice. The house is gorgeous with an incredible open layout! Walking in it felt just like home, anything we could think of that we needed was already stocked in the house. Booking the reservation was easy and quick! The owners of this home certainly know how to make you comfortable. The beach is not only a short walk, but a beautiful walk. The yard is private and large enough for my twin boys to run around and play. I truly do not have a single complaint!
