We've traveled to Maui 6 times since 1998, staying in different units at the Maui Banyan each time. This unit was by far the most complete, well stocked, well cared for unit we've had the pleasure to stay in. Corinne is an absolute pleasure to deal with, quick to respond and even provides a very helpful 'our vacation rental' binder in the unit. We're already planning our return trip, we hope this unit is available. Jerry and Michelle

My husband and I recently returned from our first trip to Maui, where we celebrated our first anniversary in November. We stayed at this beautifully renovated condo and loved everything about it. The weather was great, location perfect. The owners gave us clear instructions for check in and there was a binder full of information and suggestions waiting for us when we got there. We stayed for 8 nights and found that the condo came with everything we needed and more! There are very nice Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella available as well as lots of beach towels, snorkel gear and boogie boards, everything we needed!! Although it is in building Q, which is one of the buildings farther back in the resort, it really made no difference, you can still walk to the beach in an easy 3-5 minutes and we had really great views of the gardens and sunrise over the mountains in the mornings. All of the buildings in the Maui Banyan are comparable, but I would definitely avoid some of the units with the parking lot views (which this one does not have :) ) There is a very comfortable king size bed with bamboo sheets and great pillows, as well as a hide-a-bed in the living room (we did not use) The bathrooms are both clean and the kitchen is very nice with beautiful granite countertops. Laundry as well!! It was a major bonus to have two bathrooms as a lot of the one bedroom units only have one. There is A/C in the unit, but we found if we left the doors to the patio open at night it did a better job of cooling it down (and much more power efficient). If you stay here, you must try the 808 bistro for both lunch and dinner, as well as the kihei cafe for breakfast. Moose MacGillicuddy's and Fred's are a 5 min walk away which was very convienient for happy hour or a casual lunch or dinner. Thank you to Clarence and Corrine for a great trip!!

This is a great unit in a great location. There is a great beach and lots of places to eat nearby. The unit was very clean, updated and well supplied. It is in a nice quiet location and the lanai is large and faces the garden path with a bit of pool view. We would definately stay here again!

My husband and I loved the condo- it had everything we needed for an enjoyable 10 days. The beach chairs, cooler bag and boogie board came in very handy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed and the condo was very clean. Corrine was very helpful answering our questions and responded very quickly. I would recommend this condo to any of my friends. Our only regret was we didn't stay long enough! Will be back for sure.

As it was our first time in Maui, we were very lucky to have booked this condo. It had everything and more to make our stay memorable. The quality that was put into it sure showed. My wife especially loved the two bathrooms, so she could have one all to herself. The complex and location to the beach was great. We looked forward to a beautiful walk everyday to the beach across the street thru some great tropical trees and plants. Our only regret was that we didn't stay long enough. Next time we will be booking this condo for a lot longer.

We just spent two weeks at this very nice unit at the Banyan..Over the years we have stayed in six different units at the Banyan and all things considered, we think it is an outstanding value. This unit is very nicely decorated and maintained, and is better equipped than all other Banyan units we have rented. We will certainly put this unit at the top of our list for our next visit. Corinne, your friendly and responsive service is second to none. Thanks so much.

Just returned from spending 2 wonderful weeks in this lovely condo. The condo was well stocked and nicely renovated, with everything that made it feel like home. It was a nice central location, close to nice beaches, resturants and good shopping. The pool area and Bar-B-Q's were a nice place to meet people, everyone was very friendly. The complex was very clean and well cared for. Corrine was excellent to deal with, the whole process was very easy to do, very prompt with replys to our emails and answered all our questions. Everything went so smooth that we have booked for next year and look forward to spending time back at our home away from home. Thanks so much Corrine

This condo was fully stocked with everything we needed. The renovated kitchen and up to date bathrooms were wonderful! It really felt like a home while we were there. The kitchen was also well stocked for cooking at home which was important for our child who has Celiac's disease. Corinne and Clarence have made a great getaway in Hawaii with wonderful garden views. The proximity to the pool was amazing where our 5 year old daughter spent a large portion of time. Would love to come back. Future renters should be sure to call the property manager or owner right away if they notice something wrong with the unit. We noticed some damage and determined it was dealt with the prior renters so didn't call anyone. However the cleaning staff did not see it at the last check out so unfortunately it was thought we had done the damage. I was very impressed though as Corinne was amazing to deal with in understanding our family did not do the damage and did not require us to pay for it. So those renters that do damage should own up to it! Mahalo

This was our first time traveling to Maui and we were very impressed with the quality of this condo. The kitchen is gorgeous and looks like it has just been remodeled. We made half of our meals in the condo and made good use of the nice bbq’s for poolside dining. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, including a blender for margaritas! We spent the mornings at the beach which is just a few minutes from the unit. Everything we needed – umbrella, beach towels, mats, bag, snorkel and cooler, were there for our use. Afternoons were spent poolside where our 6 month old loved to splash around while we soaked up the sun. The pool wasn’t very crowded and was a really nice temperature. The condo was spotless and easy to keep clean while we were there. It was nice having dishwasher and washing machines to keep hard work to a minimum. :) The owners were very accommodating, and arranged a playpen and high chair to be in the condo for our arrival. I would recommend this condo to any of my family or friends looking for a beautiful place to stay in Maui. Aloha!

Very nice condo but a lacking in kitchen equipment, only very basic for preparing and cooking food. We have a lot of food sensitivities and prepare all our meals which is why we prefer a condo. It would have been nice to have a little more to work with such as knives that actually cut, better pots and pans and a working veg peeler. We managed and had a good stay anyway. Beach equipment was good. Great beach bag

We went to Maui for our daughter's second birthday and this was a fantastic place to stay. I had previously stayed at the Maui Banyan but this suite was much nicer than the one I had previously stayed at - particularly the kitchen! The place was even nicer than the pictures portrayed. It was clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed breakfast on the extended lanai, mornings at the beach, afternoons at the pool and evenings out. The owners provided lots of great tips of places to check out which were appreciated. We also really appreciated the boogie boards, beach towels, cooler and beach umbrella. Our daughter enjoyed Sesame Street on TV at 5:30 am! We enjoyed the aquarium except for the comment from a staff member that he heard Vancouver's aquarium was quite run-down (we prefer ours actually). We took the road to Hana to the first waterfall (as far as a 2 year old would tolerate), drove to the west side of the island (but couldn't find baby beach and no one seemed to know what we were talking about) and drove as far as you could past Waimea. Overall a great trip and a great place to stay.

The first time my husband and I stayed in this condo at the Maui Banyan was for our honeymoon in July 2009. We loved it so much that we went back the following year and have just booked our third stay for 2011 (hopefully with many more to follow). This condo has everything we need for a perfect Maui vacation. It is clear that the owners take pride in their condo and keep it well maintained. They have also been very helpful in answering all of our questions and have made booking our vacations incredibly easy. We have stayed in other resorts on Maui before and even in other units at the Maui Banyan resort - but nothing has quite suited all of our needs for a price we can afford like this particular condo The Maui Banyan resort is located in Kihei which is very centeral to most things you would want to do. The resort grounds are clean and well maintained. There are beautiful beaches, activities, and great restaurants all within walking distance but you will definately want a car to be able to experience all that Maui has to offer. The unit itself is clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with beach chairs, mats, coolers, beach towels, and all necessary kitchen and cooking items. The fans and a/c keep the unit at a comfortable temperature even in the summer. We love to eat our meals out on the lanai and frequently use the BBQs by the pool area to cook dinner (very convenient). We highly recommend this condo! We cannot wait to go back!
