Location: Mullett Lake, Northeast, Michigan, USA (5 miles from Indian River)
Accommodations: House, 4 Bedrooms + Den, 2.5 Baths (Sleeps 9-10)
Keywords: House on Mullett Lake
The quintessential up-north retreat with all of the necessary luxuries. Large cedar home with wood floors, knotty pine walls/ceilings throughout and beautiful river rock fireplace. Simply gorgeous!
Ralph Lauren style log furniture (made on Mullett Lake since the 1940s), spacious kitchen, dining room and living rooms, large deck with lots of chairs for lounging. Big beautiful yard for kids to run around, play badminton or frisbee right next to the lake. Quiet paved private road behind cottage for riding bikes.
Enjoy swimming, boating, sailing and fishing on Mullett Lake. Take a sunset cruise to the classic Hack-ma-Tack lodge restaurant just up the lake at the entrance to the Cheboygan River where you can enjoy cocktails and a whitefish dinner--there's nothing like it for the complete up-north experience!
Explore the inland waterway up the Indian River into Burt Lake or through the Cheboygan River through the locks just before you enter Lake Huron. In the fall, come up to see the leaves and go hunting and in the winter, go snowmobiling right out your back door and into the woods for miles of trails (also great for mountain biking).
Listen to loons in the morning, watch the swans paddle by in the afternoon and head to the Breaker's Tavern 1/4 mile up the road for burgers, a game of pool and live entertainment in the evening.
Everything you need for a wonderful vacation is right here!

My family stayed here for a week, and we loved it. The bedrooms were spacious, and the house was beautiful. The owner was quick to respond about any issues we had. The pool was a great pleasure for the children, and very close to Disney. I would definetely stay here again on our next trip to Florida.

Stayed in this beautiful, lake front home Sept 3 thru Sept 11. Aside from the chilly, and sometimes rainy weather conditions, this very clean, and well stocked home, offered every convenience. Iron, hair dryers, washer and dryer, large kitchen, lots of games, books and magazines. (we also left some) Plenty of room for the 9 of us. Stunning, starry night skies (weather permitting), from the docks, and breathtaking sunrises from the convenience of the great room. Cozy fireplace for inside evenings, and nice firepit for those outside evenings. Enjoyed both. Conveniently located near "Breakers Bar" offering normal bar food fair, and Noka Cafe offering fabulous breakfasts. Also ate at the Brown Trout, and Vivio's, both popular with the locals. Great snowmobile / bicycle path passes right in front of the property. Great for taking walks.....photographers paradise. Would highly recommend this property to others.....as I could easily see us returning here in the future. Thanks, Karen.....for sharing your home.
