Perfect, perfect, perfect!

A girls' getaway weekend. What an amazing house! Beautifully adorned and had everything we needed to do some fun cooking. We beach-combed; visited the animal game farm; shopped in the cute town of Sequim; and visited some Lavender farms. Most of all, we just gawked at the views. I don't know if there are many places on planet earth as beautiful as this. Ocean, mountains, sunsets, birds of all types. And very quiet! We will return for a longer stay next time, so we can take in some golfing and visit the casino.

Owner response:Glad you folks had a great time! Thanks for coming!

What a wonderful home on the water. The views are spectacular! We enjoyed the peace and quiet. It is so relaxing. Even though it was chilly we still enjoyed the walks on the beach. It doesn't get much better than this. Thank you for a wonderful time. This truly has been a memorable experience. ~ Mary - Fort Wayne, IN

We are probably the farthest guests you have had so far. No - we are not from Mars, we are from Beijing and Shanghai, China. This is a magic house full of lighthouses. How many are there? We counted close to 90 not including those in this handbook. We will come back and finish counting some day! Thank you for a wonderful time! Hope we have not made a mess. ~ Z Z's family from China

After a 9.1 mile hike on the Alava trail, we found this comfy lighthouse beach retreat a perfect place to rest. The warm, colorful paint and lighthouse decor make this a charming home. We have hiked numerous trails throughout our stay in WA. Yesterday it rained and we found plenty to do touring the lavender farms, strolling down the streets of the Open Aire market and finding places that sold fresh seafood. We made a delicious NW coastal dinner with blue oyster mushrooms (yum), fresh vegetables (chard, baby red potatoes with fresh green dill along with tender orange carrots), fresh halibut steaks and of course fresh Dungeness crab. To top off the meal we enjoyed lavender soda and fresh berry pie. : ) ~ Family from Chanhassen, MN

Our family stayed here for the Thanksgiving break. Too cold for swimming but we still found lots of stuff to do. We had some great times playing Trivial Pursuit and Apples-to-Apples. On the second day we checked out Forks from the Twilight series. That was very interesting! We had a great meal at the Sunrise Cafe and definitely recommend it. We all had a great time here and we have lots of great memories to keep.

Great House. Nicely adorned. Terrific beach. We now have stayed there 3 different times! 2 different golf vacations and on a Harley trip. Looking forward to the next time.

This is the second time we have stayed at your lovely home. We used it for a family reunion and we had people from Michigan, California, Illinois as well as Washington. We love the views here and on Wednesday actually go to see Mt Baker, Mt Rainier and Mt St Helens all at the same time. Very memorable and we hope to be back.

"This is a lovely view home - mountains on the west and beach on the east. We took many side trips and enjoyed the birds, beach and good weather. The men golfed and the girls cooked. And we all watching the Olympics. Fun time!"

"This is an amazing place! We can't thank you enough for sharing it with us. We enjoyed watching the ships and birds, and beach combing for beautiful shells. Touring the Peninsula was great but coming "home" was even better. The house was perfect for our family get-together. We really don't want to leave - I contemplated staying; I'm sure you wouldn't mind, would you? : ) I guess we'll just have to come back! Thanks again."

"Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know what a wonderful time we had with our family at your beautiful home. The weather was fabulous and we so enjoyed our stay. We even had the pleasure of meeting your neighbors! Your home was immaculate and was perfectly set up for our 90 and 91-year old parents to sleep comfortably on the main floor. Our dad loved sitting on the deck and watching the boats go by - cruise ships, pleasure boats, crabbing and shrimp boats, and even two submarines on Sunday morning. As a US Navy WWII vet, you can understand how much he enjoyed that! Thank you again for letting us stay in your home. It will be a weekend we will not soon forget."

"Very happy with our Olympic National Park adventures. Less rain and more sunshine than we expected! The views of the mountains from both the front and back windows was awesome. The sound of the waves was soothing ~ and watching the tides was entertaining (how long would the driftwood we placed upright at low tide out in the distance remain standing as the tide rolled in). A fun and relaxing - well-deserved break for all of us!"

"We haven't had a family vacation for awhile and this was the perfect place! Your home is lovely ~ our three-year-old loved the bedroom just for her. The views are great. We enjoyed watching the tide go in and out, the birds... all the birds and especially the sunrise/set. It was all perfect. Thank you."

"Eight of us spent our 16th "retreat" here at your beautiful home. We had such a good time. We marveled at the scenery ~ mountains on one side & water on the other side. So many good places to eat: El Cazador, Jean's Deli and the Oak Table were among our favorites!"

"The most comfortable vacation home our extended family has ever been in! It could not have been nicer in any way, and the location on the water is just the best."
