  We had such a wonderful time on Mars! Your home was wonderfully comfortable and absolutely beautiful! The island has so much to offer - soft sandy beaches and great restaurants - you really don't need anything else! We look forward to visiting your home again, it was everything we could have ever wanted.

  A home away from home.. truly relaxing. We especially enjoyed coffee in the morning on the deck... cooling off in the pool in the afternoon... exploring the island using the many suggestions the owners provided.... being a 1/2 block from viewing the sunrise over the Gulf and 3 blocks from viewing the sunset over the Laguna Madre.... taking long walks on the beach in either direction. The location of the home is central to many of the enjoyable things the island has to offer - a little north - the Bird Sanctuary and Turtle Rescue Center - a little south - shopping and restaurants/night life. Just a half block away - all the Gulf beach one could desire. Also, we could catch 'The Wave' (free bus) at either end of the block. All in all - a great location, immaculately maintained, true to the pictures and description, owners super responsive and helpful. Restaurant suggestions: Black Beard (within walking distance) for a late lunch/early bird prices (!), Grapevine for breakfast (downtown on ?Dolphin), margarita watching the sunset at The Palm Pier, Clintons for an open-air experience for lunch or a drink and to watch/listen to the waves and people.

  This property exceeded my expectations. Comfortable, accessible and the perfect size. Our group had privacy when we wanted it but could congregate comfortable to hang out. The pool was ideal for cool dips after a warm day and the backyard made for a great place to hang out in the evening. The short walk from the beach was perfect for the vacation we wanted -- one where we could wander easily to a remote portion and walk by the ocean. Conveniently located in walking distance near several fun beach bars didn't hurt either! I look forward to staying here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to call "home" during their trip to South Padre Island!

  We had a great time! amazing weather all week long for our spring break. We partied with people from all over. Beach was very relaxing, water felt good becasue of the warm weather. Surfed, watched NCAA march maddness, played poker, ate alot of shrimp and fish. Had alot of tropical drinks, went to different areas of the island, spent time with family and of course just layed around. All the people we met were fun and met alot of random people. The condo we stayed in was pretty damn awesome. Very comfortable, had alot of accomodations and was right next the beach. My family, roommates and myself had a great time and cant wait to go back soon! THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!

  My husband and I wanted to find a place to get away.We saw your beach house and knew it would be a great time to spend time with family and grandkids. We spent time walking on the beach together,it was so nice to play games at the beach and come home to a great house and cook in the kitchen. We also loved going to the thearte down the street. We biked, somewhat surfed! Relaxed and enjoyed the deck and pool. Cant wait to go back. The property was clean and well maintained. Thanks TheBorchardt Family

  My husband and I spent the week at your home,just to get away. My son and his family came with us.It was perfect! It was so nice to be close to the beach, we walked every morning along the shore. We spent quality time together with our grandkids playing games and going to the beach. We did alot of cooking for everyone. The kitchen was great, the beds better than mine at home! Everything in the home was clean and well maintained. We would love to come back for a family reunion.Thanks for everything. Sincerly the Borchardt family

  Excellent beach house; sleeps 12 comfortably. Ground floor room is set up for kids, with multiple bunk beds. Kitchen was well stocked, but a little small to cook big meals in. Pool is tiny (8' x10') but big enough for a quick dip. Very close to the beach, and there are extra beach chairs and a tent, but they are getting to the end of their useful life, so be sure and bring your own. Overall it's a great place, and would definitely recommend it.

  Beautiful, gorgeous house - just perfect for a big group. The owner is so accommodating - beach towels for everyone, a few bikes, sand toys, ice chest, beach chairs, pop-up tent for beach shade, everything you could ask for and more. The home itself is in a great location - really nice and quiet neighbors making for just a wonderful week in paradise!

  We had such a great time staying at this rental over vacation. It offers so many awesome amenities very close to the condo and its only less a minute walk and you are on the beach. So many things to do and see in the area. The condo itself is amazing, nice pool and tv's/dvd players if you fancy some tv watching but why would you? :) Thank you for letting us rent out the place and we look forward to coming back!

  The house was incredible, the location was fabulous. We went the week before Springbreak - the best possible time of year with two 4 year olds and one 3 year old. The pool is perfect for our kids; the beach footsteps away (and was deserted most of the time). The owners were very flexible with the schedule and accommodating to our needs. The weather was perfect too! There were a lot of kid-friendly attractions that made it a great vacation for our entire family. We will definitely go back!
