Entertain, enjoy, relax at this incredible gated architectural estate in the heart of Palm Springs...absolute privacy and contemporary luxury!
The house is approximately 3500 square feet and is located on a very private, gated, walled lot of almost 17,000 square feet. There is a large saltwater play pool and a separate saltwater spa. The huge yard has multiple patios, mature foliage and fruit trees...and it is completely private. There are no overhead power lines in the way of the mountain views.
Walls of glass with doors that open to the pool/patios offer guests the famous Palm Springs indoor/outdoor lifestyle. Flooring is white limestone, with carpet in the bedrooms. There is a built-in stereo system with an MP3/iPod hook up and integrated speakers throughout the public spaces inside and out. Dark walnut custom built-ins throughout, including custom cabinetry in the beautiful professional kitchen. There is formal dining with seating for 8. The living room features a dramatic "fire and ice" fireplace. There's also a media room with a 50" flat panel TV with HD DirecTV and DVR (so you can still record and view your favorite shows while you're on vacation), a DVD player and lots of movies, and a PS2 with lots of games including a karaoke game with microphones.
The master retreat is located in it's own wing behind a pivot door. The custom master bathroom has walls of glass; a freestanding tub in front of a double-sided "fire and ice" fireplace; an over sized shower with views of the mountains, four shower heads, and a wall of copper; a 12-foot long cantilevered vanity with integrated Caesarstone sinks; and a walk-in closet. In the bedroom there is a king size bed; 42" LCD flat screen TV connected to HD DirecTV satellite and a Modernica couch for lounging.
Two other large bedroom suites are located on the other side of the house, each with their own bathrooms featuring Caesarstone slab counters and limestone showers. Each bedroom has its own flat screen TV, one connected to HD DirecTV satellite and a DVD player, the other with just a DVD player. WiFi internet access extends throughout the property.
There is parking for 4-6 cars and/or an RV/Boat/Trailer, all behind gates.
Minutes from downtown restaurants, shops, museum, movie theaters, live theater, and casino. Two blocks from a park with tennis, basketball, and a "fitness course." Less than one block from Desert Hospital. Easy drive to Palm Springs International Airport and dozens of golf courses. Pets are allowed on a case by case basis with an additional security deposit. Full concierge service is available upon request.

The first impression one has when stepping through the front door of this home is of space and light and CALM. The decor is exactly as shown in the photos; immaculate and stylishly modern without sacrificing comfort in any way. We stayed with two other couples and each appreciated having their own large bed (no "Ozzie and Harriet" rooms or trundle beds!) and ensuite bathroom. We have rented many homes in the Palm Srings area and appreciated everything about this one; the decor, amenities, location and spaciousness. We would love to return!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

We had such a great time! The location was idea - very close to shopping and the heart of Palm Springs in a nice quiet neighborhood. I can't say enough about the house - great modern look/feel with an air of classic PS I Love You. The open living space was perfect for our party of 5 - inside and out. I was the lucky one that stayed in the master bedroom and it was fantastic - love that shower! Julie and her team could not have been more accommodating and responsive - we really didn't need any help as the house book explained it all. I recommend this home to everyone looking to visit Palm Springs.

What a find! Comfortable, beautifully furnished, great location ( just a few miles from town!) Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Felt like I was living in my own home in Palm Springs. Great kitchen to cook in and a wonderful pool area to relax in!

Where to begin? I have rented many times on VRBO, in Palm Springs and other destinations. This rental was hands down, the nicest, most well-appointed, comfortable, private retreat I have ever been to. The pictures are great but they don't even do the place justice. It was immaculate, and every detail was thought out. The dishes, knives, appliances and kitchen construction were high quality, as were the linens, mattresses, pillows, towels etc. We could have easily moved in! The lot is large and extremely private, it is like being at a 5 star resort by yourself! Aside from dining out, we really didn't leave the house. It was so relaxing just being outdoors in the pool and spa, we never wanted to leave! Owner was also very prompt and nice to deal with. I would absolutely recommend this property, and I won't consider staying anywhere else when I return to the area!
