  Two couples stayed here for a week in October in this large, perfectly located apartment. Lots of room for everyone to both sit and relax as well as dine. Loved the view of both the sea and the park from our front balcony. Perfectly positioned close to a bakery, wine shop, market and many restaurants. We loved the fact we were staying just a 10 minute train ride from the very touristy Cinque Terre - we went one day and that was enough. We found lots to do in Levanto. Shop owners were friendly and one of us found a wonderful salon and had a pedicure - would highly recommend Christina on Remembrance street. She speaks English quite well and has a wonderful personality. Only downside is that the car park area is several blocks away - you don't need a car to get around at all but if you have one be aware that it is a 10 minute walk to retrieve it (you can park for a short time to load and unload in front of the Hotel Garden.) If we were returning to Levanto we would definitely stay here again.

  This is a great apartment for a family to stay in. It is spacious, very clean & in a fabulous position in town with beautiful views of the beach. Levanto is a gorgeous place & you can easily reach the Cinque Terre by boat or train. We hired bikes through the hotel & rode to other pretty villages on the coast. The balcony of the apartment was lovely to sit on & watch everyone go by. The staff were very obliging and I thoroughly recommend the apartment to anyone.

  This apartment is truly a fantastic find on vrbo.com It is especially large and can accommodate easily 6-8 people with its three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The views from the apartment are especially beautiful, and the location is most central to the beach, stores, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. One does not need any transportation to get around Levanto. The train station is within walking distance, however, there is a taxi for Euro 10 directly to the Hotel Garden. Aside from all the positive amenities of this apt., the exceptional graciousness of Francesca, Davide and Daniele must be well-noted in this review. Overall, you will find this apt. exceptionally clean and well-organized. Living in this apt. is much better than seeing the pictures on the website.

  We stayed here for four nights with our four young children ages 10-4 and it was a perfect fit. This is not a fancy place but it is well built and has all the basics you could need. It truly is the best spot for beach goers as it is easy to pop in and out as needed. The corner below is very busy and a top spot for people watching at all hours. However, once you close the doors, you can sleep soundly. For the beach, I would recommend using the Casino across the street but make reservations ahead of time if possible. Free beach worked fine too.

  We were 3 couples traveling for a month in Italy and had stayed in Levanto before but deceided to try this property. We were very pleased with all the accomodations and as stated by otheres it was all it was advertised to be and more. we loved being able to have our dinners in or go to nearby places to eat . Also enjoyed being able to sit on the balcony for the great view. We used this for a jumping off point for Cinque Terre as well as Santa Margarita Ligure but found the town itself to be a wonderful place to explore.. Can not thank the staff enough for all the help when, unfortunatly, one of our group had his wallet stolen at the train station . They were great and Davide even filed the police report for us. We would return and definatly reccomend this to others. They also put us in touch with the Cinque Terre Shuttle who took us to and from the train station when we arrived with,as usual, too much luggage!

  The 4 people in our party all loved this apartment; it was everything the advertisement said it was.The location was superb; on the beach and only one town north of the first Cinque Terre town, and from which we were able to take a ferry to 4 of the 5 towns. The beach was great, as well as the variety of restaurants, which were quite reasonable. And above all else, the staff {Davide, Francesca,and Damien ) were most helpful and responsive to all our inquires. We could not have been more pleased, especially considering the price of the unit.

  The apartment was exactly as advertised. It is modern, clean, well located with a view of the ocean from the verandah. It was quiet and in the centre of town, very convenient to everything. The bathrooms and kitchen were convenient and modern also. Levanto was a very good place to be based for the Cinque Terre area as many of the other towns are quite small. It was really the peoople who made the stay excellent. The staff were amazing! Damieno and Francesca were incredibly helpful and went well beyond their jobs to help us with a medical situation. They were incredibly kind and thoughtful. Their help really made the stay in Levanto a wonderful experience. We would like to thank them, yet again, for all their help and care. The reception area has plenty of information of things to see and do in the area. Activities we enjoyed: The boat trip to Puerto Nuevo is a fantastic day out. A boat trip to Portofino from Levanto is also meant to be wonderful.
