Amazing Oasis in Sonoma

Stayed in Wikiup with a group of college friends for a wedding over memorial day weekend and had an amazing time. Making breakfast together in the big kitchen, drinking wine under the afternoon sun in the courtyard and good night sleeps in comfy rooms. Our only criticism was some tricky plumbing but it was quickly attended to. We felt welcomed and well taken care of. The place is cozy, clean, well-appointed and in an amazing location for any adventures in Sonoma County. It's perfect for a large group - lots of communal space, but privacy when it's needed. Can not recommend more. I wish we could have stayed for another week. Or just move in altogether.

We traveled from Texas to Napa with a large group to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. My guests could not have been more pleased with the accomodations. The courtyard and surrounding property are beautiful and well taken care of. Excellent atmosphere for a large group or gathering.

Rancho Wikiup was a terrific HQ for our group of 15+ (all ages) that gathered over the recent holidays. Everyone had nice quarters and we had plenty of space to "stretch out" and also the ability to all be together for meals. Very nice "farmhouse" accomodations! Close to a lot of the Sonoma attractions and only 30 minutes from Calistoga too. Can't wait to go back!

We rented Rancho Wikiup with 15 friends to celebrate my husband's 40th suprise birthday party March 2010. It is a magical place! The hot tub in the hills is perfect. The master bedroom is stunning. All the guests said the beds were very comfortable. We hired musicians and it was the perfect backdrop for live music (megan slankard and jeff campbell)! It should sleep 17, but 15 was a more comfortable number. Kitchen had everything you needed. Location great. Recommend dave from Getaway Adventures if you want to tour Sonoma easily. Would definitely stay at Rancho Wikiup again! (Great photo ops!) Thank you Nancy!

Have you ever had high anticipation and hopes about an upcoming event or experience and have it turn out to be even better than your wildest expectations? That it was way better than you could have ever hoped for? That's the way my girlfriends and I experienced Rancho Wikiup recently. Girls Weekend Away in wine country and we were lucky enough to have found this great spot! Don't hesitate to rent this one. The house itself is amazing, the decor is sophisticated yet very comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped; it's a great house for entertaining.

It has been 7 months since our stay in this amazing home and my husband and I still think of and speak of the house and its owners, Nancy and Carlos. I cannot even articulate what I feel in my heart for this special place and more importantly, my gratitude to Nancy. I was married on June 14, 2008 and less than one week before my wedding weekend, the owner of the first home I had reserved, conveniently decided to rent her "Luxurious Tuscan Villa" to another group for more money (even though I had paid a deposit and was expecting her to charge the balance to my credit card). I was left high and dry with only 5 days to find a new house to accommodate my large wedding party and to be the venue for our rehearsal dinner. I had exhausted all of my options and took a shot in the dark when I found this property. Nancy barely had availability but she came through huge for us and made it work. Her home proved to be the place where we were supposed to end up and we have very fond memories of our time there. We hope to return someday with all of our friends (who also loved the house). The house is beautiful and the space is immaculate. It was very comfortable and we had everything we could have needed. Nancy and Carlos dropped their dog Louis off with us for a few hours and he was well behaved and loved by all. It's located in a safe neighborhood, close to local amenities as well as the freeway but when you're there, it feels like you're a world away and in total seclusion. My husband and I joke that if we were to win the lottery, we'd offer Nancy double the value of the property so we could own it; assuming she'd be crazy enough to sell it. Thanks for everything Nancy and Carlos!
