Outfitters are available with over 120 miles of canoeing alone in this 700 sq mile nature preserve! In the summertime enjoy U-pick Georgia produce at 18 farm stands. Approx 50 miles to the east (about 1 hour) is the Atlantic Ocean with all the romantic Sea Islands of Georgia. On Jekyll Island you can see the historic museums of the Rockefeller's, Vanderbilt's & the creation of the US Mint.
