Well I came back (see review Beverly 02/26/10) last year 2 weeks, this year 4 weeks, next year 6 weeks. And it just gets better!!!!! I love the island and love my Sea Mist Villa. I am always enchanted by the ocean views throughout the cottage, the dependable temperate climate, cooling onshore breeze, an ever changing sunrise over the water (photographers dream), the tranquil marine activity passing by, maybe a majestic cruise ship, small fishing dinghy, or enthusiastic dive expedition, each almost lost in the vast expanse. If this sounds poetic it is how I feel after my trip. Turtle Crossing has a small community feel (although just minutes to the action, facilities, and activity of West Bay Beach). Here there is a great deal of privacy and quiet and the familiar faces of your neighbours on a regular basis. Just time to discover the latest secret about the Island (restaurant, new bakery, gourmet food store, favourite novel, snorkel spot or small island getaway they have just discovered) 6 years coming to the Island and still finding new things. Favourite island activities this year. • Snorkelling everywhere • Visit to east end of the island - Mango Creek Lodge (learning the history of the Islands and its pirates) • Lunch at Playa Bay resort (remote & beautiful) – Miss Lurlene (owner) always has a warm hug to welcome me. • Birthday party with new friends at Pigeon Key (small sand and coral island off the east end of Roatan) outstanding snorkel, fishing, guys caught a barracuda; the colours of the water are amazing. Favourite ‘Sea Mist’ activities this year • Coming home each day • Meeting new friends • Sunrise over the ocean each morning, (from my hammock) • Moonrise over the ocean each night (from my bed) • Fresh flower arrangements in my villa created by the young lady who cleans each week • A private swim in the pool before bed. • Star gazing while I float in the pool. • Finding my quiet.

So this is Paradise! We had beautiful weather and the accomodations were fantastic! Four of us stayed here very comfortably and I loved the bathrooms! We walked to the beach taking the less hilly route towards the left. It was a very pretty view from ALL the decks watching the sunrise and sunsets. Life is good here in Roatan and it was so wonderful to see you both Claudio,& Emiliana. We well hope to see you again soon. Thank you, best wishes, Marissa & Paul

We stayed at Sea Mist February 4-12, 2011. It was, as my son said, "a once in a lifetime experience". The accomodations are awesome, we watched the sun rise every morning while having our coffee on the beautiful porches. Amiliano and Claudio are so attentative and gracious making sure every need is met to ensure your vacation is outstanding! We enjoyed our visits with them tremendously. They are very knowledgeable about the area and are able to make really good recommendations about where to eat, best prices and value for the money. Ron Rivers is the best tour guide on the island - what an amazing young man - knows everything about the island! Ron made sure we were able to do everything we had planned and then some more. Best vacation ever! If you are considering this as a possibility for your vacation you should go for it - you will not be sorry! I travel for a living and this is without a doubt one of the most amazing places I have ever had the privilege of visiting. The island is beautiful and the people are wonderful and friendly. They are very proud of their heritage and truly invite you into their lives. We will be back soon.

I loved my time at the ‘Sea Mist Villa’. I stayed for 2 weeks in Feb. and have booked for 4 weeks next year. I felt like I was at home yet also felt like a guest of Emiliana & Claudio. I can’t thank you enough for your hospitality. The villa is remarkably well appointed with a definite attention to detail. The location is ideal, with magnificent ocean views (a ocean sunrise each morning), an ever present cool tropical breeze, beautiful lush landscapes, quiet, safe, bug free, and just a short walk to the beachfront action and first class snorkelling. The pool is refreshing and a great place to relax away from the hustle of the beach. I’m looking forward to my tropical getaway next year. Beverley, On. Canada
