We vacationed at this home for 9 days over Easter with our family - 12 in all - and could not have asked for a better place to get together. Our 6 kids - aged 11 - 17 - all loved the back yard amenities, and there was plenty of room in the house for everyone to spread out and not invade anyone else's space. It was a central place for us to take the family exploring up to Sedona and the Grand Canyon, as well as shopping at Arrowhead and over to Westgate and Jobbing.Com to take in a Coyotes playoff game. Brian was very helpful on the couple of occasions that we did need to phone him, prompt with replies and service. He has always been quick to reply to my emails and this all added to the ease of renting a home. We have truly made believers in the Valley of the Sun out of our 2 boys and their wives, as well as all the kids. Thanks Brian!

The property was excellent. Everything was very clean when we arrived and the pool/hot tub/fire place area surpassed expectations from the pictures. The property owner (Brian) and his property manager were very responsive and professional. We plan on being back!
Owner response:I'm glad you were able to join us for some sunshine and Spring Training... Look forward to seeing you again.

This is the third consecutive year we have stayed at this property for our annual Phoenix golf trip. Once again, we found the house and the grounds in impeccable condition. We have always found the property clean and there is never a shortage of "in house" comforts to entertain us all. After a day on the links, some of us played cards, some soaked in the hot tub while others enjoyed watching TV outdoors around the fire pit. We enjoyed the property so much, some of the guys have booked their family vacation at the same property. Brian / Jason, we're looking forward to next year's trip already. Thanks for sharing your amazing property with us.
Owner response:CC, You guys are the best. We always enjoy having you each year. We'll look forward to seeing you again soon. Brian

We have rented a number of homes from VRBO & have had wonderful experiences until this rental. This experience was a problem from the beginning & we felt scammed! Once we had signed the rental agreement & paid, we received constant request for payments we had already made. We had to send receipts showing that all payments had been made. Thirty days before our arrival we received a "Welcome Packet" that made us feel anything but welcome! Having already paid for the pool to be heated & a nonrefundable pet fee, we were then treated to a seemingly endless list of other possible fees in the form of deductions from our security deposit. These included not cleaning the BBQ grill, wearing shoes in the bedrooms, changing any of the settings on the entertainment system, pool system or heat. Our entire stay was regimented by what we could & could not do in the house. Even the heat was regulated, turning the heat above 68 degrees in the winter or below 78 in the summer was cause for a deposit deduction. Garbage bags and dishwashing packets were rationed. The attitude of the owner was anything but accommodating. The house was relatively new but surprisingly unclean. The rugs were all stained & the master bedroom quilt was stained. One of the back bedrooms was definitely substandard & all bedrooms except the master lacked TV service when we arrived. The exterior metal window shades that we were required to shut whenever we left the house, made coming into the house feel like entering a cave. The outside tables were coming apart & the exterior pool table was delaminating. The communal area had a single sectional in a house that sleeps 12 & only had 4 kitchen chairs. We did not have a large group, but even adding in the kitchen counter stools, only nine could eat at the same time. The sectional seating area in the communal area was inadequate for more than 5 or 6 adults & not very comfortable. The owners agreed to allow us to have our dog at their home and we paid for the privilege. My son brought his dog to the house for a few hours & we were told by the owners that we would have to pay another fee, even though they "'agreed that the dogs did not do any damage & the initial fee more than covered any additional cleaning required." This house looks great in the pictures, but it is not user friendly & neither are the owners. We would not recommend any Westwing Rental property to anyone & we will never rent another Westwing Rental property!!!!!!!!
Owner response:It must be noted that this guest asked permission for one small short haired outdoor pet. I accepted with an added standard non refundable pet deposit. A week before their stay, I received a call asking if I would allow another small outdoor pet. I agreed if they would pay a second pet fee. They declined to pay the extra fee. Well guess what I found when responding to a missing television cable Someone unplugged and removed. Two long haired dogs that were anything but outdoor or small. The dogs sleeping pillows were found inside the home which is a violation of the agreement. As was sneaking in a second dog. When I refunded the security deposit minus a second pet fee, that is when things got ugly. Here are a few of the emails from this guest before it was discovered that they broke the contract and decided to keep two large dogs inside without my knowledge or permission violating our policy. Guests emails, We have not tried all the sinks, bathrooms, outdoor areas, etc. but if we find anything that does not work we will let you know. So far everything is great. We love the house and are very happy here. Thanks again. s ps. I will be taking your lead on the activities book. It is a great idea. Also the tv, stereo, etc. information with pictures is excellent. You've given me some great idea for Tahoe. Thanks. It does appear that we have not paid the amount for heating the pool. I will take care of that today. sf Thank you b. We love this house and think it will be a wonderful place to spend the holidays with our family. It is a little disconcerting that your agreement says that your reservation is not confirmed until all payments are made and the itemized costs states that the final payment is not due until thirty days prior to occupancy of the property. Does blocking out the dates correspond to booking the property? I really don't want the property to be rented from underneath us. Can you confirm that this will not happen? Thanks. s Here is a copy of the guest's original rental inquiry. Guests 5 adults, 0 children. It is a shame that the seating for 9 was inadequate for the group of 12. Where did the other 7 guests come from? I think we are starting to see the real picture here. We always strive to provide clean and comfortable homes to rent. Unfortunately, some will always be unhappy.

Thank you so much Brian for allowing us to rent your beautiful dream home! It was definitely a dream for us! This was the best vacation ever! My girls love Disneyland but both admitted, they REALLY LOVED staying at your home in Phoenix! Everything was as advertised....so beautiful......so private......so comfortable......so much fun in the pool with my family! We enjoyed a wonderful Canadian Thanksgiving while staying at your home and it was just so perfect! Couldn't imagine it any better! I'm on this website typing away with tears in my eyes as I peruse the photos here. I see us there having fun outside....eating dinner at your beautifully crafted kitchen......my children even having a siesta in the evening watching Harry Potter on the big screen and the sectional.....we are now shopping for one just like it! Very cosy couch. Everything was just perfect! We will definitely be back and, yes, we would highly recommend this home to those who enjoy perfection at a very reasonable price! Thanks again!
Owner response:Wow! Although I am always appreciative of guest comments and reviews, I never thought that I would get choked up over one. You are certainly welcome anytime, and I greatly appreciate your thoughtful comments. We will look forward to welcoming you back soon. Please let us help make your next stay even better. Until then. What a great house. We had 6 adults staying in the house and had 20 baseball players over for a BBQ one night and there was plenty of room. Fantastic back yard with everything that you need. The only thing I would suggest to the owner is larger pots and pans for the kitchen. We can't wait to stay there again.

The house is beautiful; however, I feel it is very poorly managed. Twice we had to call because the hot tub was not working and the third time it went out we gave up calling as we were leaving the next morning. We paid extra for having a heated pool/hot tub, but were rarely able to use it when we wanted to due to the temp of the water. The lights in the pool did not work the first night and two of the bathroom toilets did not flush properly. There was no soap in any of the showers or any laundry soap in the cupboard. The biggest issue we had was that half of our deposit was withheld due to alleged damage to the pool table. We did not even take the cover off the pool table during our stay, nor did we check it for damage as it wasn’t on the checklist. We were sent a photo with damage, but there was no time stamp or date on it to determine when the photo was taken. Make sure you use the checklist very carefully when checking in for damage upon arriving and look for things that aren’t on the checklist as you might be responsible for those items also.
Owner response:The pool was heated as advertised to 84 degrees and was never a problem or an issue. The pool lights malfunctioned due to a GFI circuit trip. Once diagnosed, the GFI was reset and the lights worked as advertised. The hot tub was found to be in solar mode. The solar could heat the tub only during the day. The hot tub was correctly placed back into heater mode. It must be noted that the manager, the pool maintenance company and myself responded within minutes of the first call. Four more guests have stayed at the home with no issues. All pool equipment including heat are functioning normally. There was only one complaint about a toilet and that too was handled immediately. The problem was the chain became unhooked from the flushing handle. Our maintenance contract calls for changing the internal components once per year and the overall functionality was and is not an issue. We do provide soap and shampoo in each bath. We usually provide a few individual packages of laundry soap but do not provide an unlimited supply. With regard to the tear in the pool table felt, our cleaning staff check each item on a checklist and if something is missing or otherwise damaged, they take a photograph and report it. The same crew has been cleaning this property for 3 years. They know when things are out of place. To take no chances or make unwarranted assumptions, I personally check the past 2-3 reports to make sure that they checked that particular item was okay on the past reports. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt. We have to insist on a no breakage policy to ensure that each guest is presented with a clean and fully functional home. Sometimes things get broken. Things do happen and sometimes by accident. It's quite possible that teenagers do not always tell their parents when an item is broken. It's unfortunate when it does happen and we are fair and objective. One solution, especially if the guest is hosting a party at the property or has kids that are accident prone, is to forego the $500 security deposit all together and opt for the Property Damage Protection offered through Homeaway. That way the guest can rest easy if something is damaged, it will be fully covered and they do not have to wait for a refund. We pride ourselves in always improving each property and want to know how we can do a better job.

We highly recommend this property and have to say that this is one of the best properties we have ever rented. Everything was beautifully prepared and very welcoming after a long flight from the UK. It makes a nice change to turn up at a property and find it just as advertised (or even better). We have rented properties before which have turned out to be over sold. This was certainly not the case here! It was very useful to have so much local information provided and with Jason just around the corner to respond to any questions. Everyone did their utmost to ensure our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. We will definitely be back to stay in this delightful house again. Thank you very much Brian and Jason for allowing us to rent your beautiful property. First of all the appearance of the home when you drive up is ver beautiful and well thought out as far as design/landscape. When we entered the high ceilings large open layout was a big plus with the kids we had that could move around and not feel cramped.. Each room was unique to it's own which is what you like to see that way it appeals to everyone's liking. The backyard with the firepit, pool and cabana kitchen were immaculate and really set the tone right off the bat for a great week with the kids..great layout and very spacious - thanks! We would definitely recommend this property to our friends, etc. While there we enjoyed nightlife activities, ghost towns and area attractions for the kids so they could enjoy more than just the home. Again we appreciate your hospitality througout the whole stay and hope to do it again someday! I agree with everything that's been said so far about this place (except for the obligatory complainer)- amazing house, swim-up bar w/ keg tap, pool table, grill, putting green- what more could you want? Jason and Brian were always available and quick in their response, and their recommendations were great. My friends and I stayed 4 nights for my bachelor party Memorial Day weekend, and we can't stop talking about it. The house was clean, very well-maintained, and every last detail was seen to. The only drawback was perhaps the location, as Peoria is a bit isolated. That being said, there were some great bars/restaurants in Peoria and neighboring cities like Glendale, and we spent majority of the time at the house anyway. Overall a great place and I fully intend to be use this place again in the future. Recommended for: Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Owner wrongfully accused us of damage to his furniture, and he withheld a portion of the security deposit.
Owner response:First let me say that I very sorry that this individual had a bad experience. I do not enjoy spending unnecessary amounts of time resolving missing, broken, or damaged items. But every once in a while, someone does break something. To live up to our cleanliness standards the cleaning crew spends four hours making sure that the home is in a spotless condition upon your arrival. We use ultra violet lights and sanitize the entire home. Every piece of furniture and every inch of the home is cleaned each time a guest checks out. We have used the same cleaning crew at all of our rental properties for the last three years. Basically, they know every inch of the property inside and out. When something is out of place, they take a photo and list it on the their check out report. They know week to week if something is out of place. There are blank copies of the inspection reports in the welcome packages inside each home. If there is any damage discovered upon check in, guests are encouraged to fill out the report and call the manager to note the damage. In the 100+ weeks that we have rented this home, I have had to withhold all or a portion of the deposit six times. I check photos, and read the inspection reports before I make a decision how much to charge. Most of the time people are respectful and accept the cost for damage or even pay for it themselves.. In this case, this individual (an attorney) agreed to a settlement amount to pay for the damage. I returned as agreed 87.5% of his security deposit. Now he has left us an unfavorable review without a mention of how wonderful the property and location are. Touche counselor! Perhaps we could change the title of his review to read, "Beware, if you get really drunk and break something during your vacation, the owner might make you pay for it". On the other hand, I'll let you read all of the good reports and I'm happy to let you know we have had 4 return guests and 2 triple return guests. We look forward to welcoming you to a first class vacation home!

I must say we had a great time on a golfing outing. The house as descibed and shown in the pictures is up to "PAR". The house was clean and neat on our arrival as expected. A few of the guys that went on the trip had only stayed in hotels on the previous years. I suggested the house. Everybody said that they would not stay in a hotel again for a trip like this. Bedroom accomodations were good. We had a couple of nights where we had a friend come in from another town and were able to let them sleep on the fifth bed. (Two full size beds in a room instead of the bunk beds shown). Plenty of towels for bathing and the pool. We paid to heat the pool and we used it every day. The hot tub is great and can seat plenty. Outdoor BBQ and firepit are great. The location of the house is in the NW area of the city which worked out fine for us since we did not have set hours for golfing days. We golfed every day and there are plenty of course to choose from. Theres already talk of next years trip and this house is on the list. The amenities at this house make this house a great value and we even rented at peak season (Spring training). Hope you enjpoy it as much as we did. I brought a group of 8 golfers to Phoenix for the 5th straight year. This was far and away the nicest rental house we have stayed in, and we never really got over what a great place this is. This house was completely decked out with the entire home being wired for sound, an excellent outdoor room including a spa, outdoor grill, swim up bar with stools, pool table, huge master suite and bath, comfortable beds, open layout... and the list goes on. I would be happy to recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy themselves in a quiet area with easy access to so many things. We have always appreciated the high value of golf in the immediate area, but there is so much more. The owner has made the rental process very streamlined and they were very thoughtful in providing their guests with abundant information on the surrounding area. My group looks forward to renting again from Westwing Rental in the coming years.

We stayed here for the Fiesta Bowl. Close enough to stadium to be convenient but tucked away in a community so you felt like you were far away from the madness! The house was immaculate upon arrival and the amenities were more than expected. The owner has left nothing unnoticed or overlooked. We spent all of our down time hanging out by the pool and nobody wanted to leave for any reason - the house and yard truly have it all! Groceries, shopping and eating all close by with lots of choices. Loved it!

This is a nice home in a nice area and with the following exceptions we enjoyed ourselves. The home was not clean from the previous renters and it took four hours to get it taken care of. The hot tube never worked properly the entire week. The manager stopped by to check out the hot tube but was unable to do anything and didn't seem to care much. Lastly, only 50% of the deposit was returned with no explaination as to why and no reply after repeated attempts to contact owner. We would not stay again.
Owner response:Guest did not pay for the optional pool heat charge. After they arrived they complained that the pool was too cold to swim. We turned the pool heater on and the therms used to heat the pool in unseasonably cold weather was reflected in the amount deducted ($266) from the security deposit. The manager was there several times each day during their entire stay to check and monitor the temperatures of the pool. At one point during start up the guest decided to break into the locked pool control box without authorization. The pool temperature (not hot tub) was over 95 degrees at one point. The gas bill for the month of November was $654.08. The PayPal refund clearly stated that they were charged for the excess gas usage.

Coming from Alaska we already knew we would enjoy the weather... but the accommodations were the best! It was just my wife and myself, but if I had a pose to bring, this would be well suited for that as well. Everything is clean and comfortable. We only had 4 nights so did not do much sightseeing - there is plenty to do in the area and the host provides one of the very best information books when you arrive if that's your thing. If personal security is important to you then this place has the bases covered. You can literally lock out the world with steel shutters (electronic - very cool) and you are in a gated community. We really liked meeting Jason - the manager. Very informative and accessible should you have any questions, and a great conversationalist to boot! You get what you pay for with this vacation home and more! The house was perfect for our week of R & R, and the space, inside and out was exactly as advertised. Quieter locale, but exactly what we wanted, and everything necessary ( shopping & golf) is really just 10 - 20 minutes away. Hope to be back to see you next year ! Love your Arizona weather - it's the perfect backdrop.
Owner response:Thanx for taking such great care of the casa! Look forward to seeing you back again next year! Cheers! Brian

We truly enjoyed our stay at your home. The place was perfect for our time in Peoria. The backyard offers privacy and hours of relaxing pleasure. The home itself is very comfortable. We cant wait to return next year and bring some friends. Brian is very easy to work with and Jason was very helpful and available anytime to answer questions or help with visitors ;-) Thanks so much for opening your home for us to enjoy.

We just stayed at this home for a long weekend of golf and relaxation and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and has everything you need to have fun without leaving the property. The swim up bar, outside TV, pool table, mister system (to cool things down a bit), BBQ, and fire pit was resort worthy. We hope to get back again to enjoy this house.
Owner response:Thank you for your stay. I'm glad I could share with you a slice of paradise. i'll look forward to welcoming you again next year.

I would like to sum this up in just one word AMAZING, however the details everyone likes to hear about. The sleeping arrangments, amenitites, pool, BBQ, TV and pool table outside, hot tub, putting green were not a joke but what i feel is important is that anything that you need is at your disposal including all types of dishes and even some different sets and sizes of swim suits along with a large selection of towells. The only thing we had to buy was food and beer and beer can be provided along with wine and the fixings if you put it in the package. Next time i will get a keg no doubt! Anyway, the house speaks for itself but what i liked was the moutain scenary with hiking trails, the sun sets and if their was anything that was needed the off site manager was willing to lend a helping hand. This was a pefect place for a family get together and highly recommend you stay at this home. A 4-star hotel had nothing on this and the only reason i did not give it a 5-star is because we did not have the maid service and if you don't like cleaning then invest for housekeeping. Thank you Brian for the use of your beautiful home and i must say you did think of everything for the home. Take care and be careful flying the skies!

The house provided everything that was promised. It was an excellent place to stay and relax. We went for walks and hikes and to baseball games. We watched basketball while grillling outside. The house was clean when we arrived and had everything that we needed. The owner was easy to work with, and very accommodating. I would recommend this place to others.
Owner response:Thanx for the nice comments... looking forward to seeing you next year.

Our stay in your beautiful home was very relaxing. The backyard has many things to enjoy (relaxing, hot tub, BBQ, firepit, pool table, TV - we did it all). The home was very comfortable and spacious. The surrounding area was lovely as well. It was out just far enough to be away from the hustle of the city but just a short drive away back to the city. We look forward to our next stay in Arizona and staying at your lovely home. Thanks!
Owner response:We look forward to your return. The addition of a solar pool heater will help out next season. Thanx again Brian

Quite simply, this was the best place I have ever stayed at. This house was absolutely the perfect place for our party of four guys enjoying a Spring Training trip. This really was like a luxury resort and the backyard was even nicer than I expected. The owner hasn't missed any detail. We spent the majority of our time in the backyard enjoying the heated pool, hot tub, putting green, and the sunken cabana. The cabana area included a large grill, mini-fridge, refridgerated beer tap, sink, ice-maker, a swim up bar, LCD TV, and a sitting area around a gas fire pit. Also there was a pool table outside that came in handy. The inside of the house was equally nice with a 65 inch HD TV and a stereo system that provided music to all the rooms as well as outside. The master bedroom and master bath were huge and nice. The three other bedrooms were more than roomy enough. The kitchen was very large and very well stocked. The large wine fridge came in handy as well. The owner has been extremely well organized. In order to make things easy every switch or contoller is plainly labeled and there is a large binder with instuctions as well as suggestions for places to eat or things to do in the area. My friends and I will be staying here again on our next trip to Phoenix.

In short the place was perfect! The house was larger than expected, the kitchen was incredibly large, the pool and hot tub were fabulous, the beds were comfy, the bathrooms were spacious, the TV was huge. All in all we had a wonderful family vacation at this place. With two little girls and 5 adults, we had plenty of excess space. We all loved the pool, hot tub and the basketball hoop in the pool. Would recommend this place to everyone going on vacation in Phoenix area. Thanks again
Owner response:Tarq It was a pleasure having you choose our home for your vacation. Glad you had a great time. Hope to see you next season. Warmest regards B

Perfect for the family or just adults. This house has televisions in every bedroom. The pool is awesome and the backyard is hard to leave. Views of the mountain and anything else you need is nearby. Bars, restaurants, baseball, shopping, lake, and plenty of outdoor activities including hiking from the house.
Owner response:I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Please consider visiting again next season.

I stayed at this house in February 2009 with my family. It is in excellent condition and is even nicer than it appears on the web site. The home has state of the art electronics and the outside area is great with the putting green, pool table, pool, hot tub and fire pit. It is easy to prepare food as the barbecue is excellent and the kitchen is large and has a lot of counter space. Many local attractions are within 30 miles and the Grand Canyon is about 3 1/2 hours away, so there is a lot to do in the area. The only caution is for families with young children as a master bedroom door, and door in the kitchen, lead directly to the pool (although there are two locks on each door; one of which is somewhat elevated) and there are external shades/security gates which can be closed.
Owner response:Thank you for staying with us this season. Look forward to seeing you next year.

I recently stayed at this home and it was the best vacation I've ever had! The home was beautiful and immaculate. I couldn't believe the quality and all the amenities. The backyard, complete with swimup bar, was incredible. I felt like I was at a country club. I never wanted to leave! The Cibola Vista Spa, just outside the neighborhood, was amazing. Lake Pleasant was beautiful! Shopping in Carefree was fun. Lots of unique little shops. Tons of great restaurants closeby. I can't wait to come back. Next time I will definitely stay longer!
Owner response:Glad you enjoyed your stay and all of the amenities. Make sure you take advantage of the return guest discount of 10% off or one free day for a week rental. Look forward to seeing you then... Also glad you had a blast at the NFC Championship game... thanx for the call. When the Cardinals home season schedule comes out, i'll forward it to you. We have the same club seats next season (Sec 222, Row5, 3&4 or 3,4,5&6) Cheers! B
