Best Location on West Bay Beach-Private Yet Close to Evrythng

  This condo had the absolute best location on the island! We had friends stay in a resort within West Bay and we visited Anthony's Key as well as West End and decided we had the best spot. It was away from the rocking beach scene of Easter Week and the Cruise ship folk never bothered us. Yet we were an easy 5 minute walk to anywhere in West Bay. The Anemone Scuba outfit was within steps of door and they also had excellent service (they even give condo inhabitants a discount!) What we thought was also the best is the snorkeling right outside our back door (one word of caution, however, it is not for the faint of heart. You do have to swim across a boating lane that the water taxis speed through.) The snorkeling right off the beach though is as good as any of the diving we did and first thing in the morning is the calmest and best time to go. The property manager is also the best. He's very friendly, from Chicago, met us promptly at the airport, and answered all our questions.

  I did a lot of research about the island and settled on this Condo. It was everything we thought it would be and more. The description of the location was perfect. It was secluded but right around the corner from all the fun and food you wanted. Excellent care of the property, the air worked great, Kevin was there for all of our needs including a short notice drive to Anthony's key to swim with the Dolphins(which if you have never done, you must do!). Jensen our driver took us on a wonderful island tour(zipline, monkeys, iguana's, and lunch on the north east end at an amazing place called La Sirena and got us to and from the airport on time and safely. The pool in front of the property was such a great feature. After snorkeling the reef right out in front of the property we'd come in and shower off in the outdoor showers and soak in the pool and watch the sunset before getting ready for dinner at one of the great restaurants in West Bay. By the way, the carrot cake at Bite on the Beach was amazing! And Los Rocas was great food at a great price and the Argentinian Grill was outstanding! Be prepared for the planned power outages a couple of times a week from 6 to 9 am. Those of us who wore bug spray were spared the bites from the sand flies, those who didn't, got a lot. Mosquitos were at a minimum. The favorite part of our trip was a 8 hour boat trip to Cayos Cochinos for some amazing snorkeling. The trip was arranged by Ray at Fosters Restaurant. Travel by water was also very convenient as the water taxi's ran right in front of the condo. We really loved everything about our stay there and would do it again in a heartbeat! Thanks Debbie!   We loved this condo. It was spacious, well equipped, and clean! The a/c worked great when needed, but the evenings cooled down nicely and we didn't even use it. We had minimal of the dreaded mosquito and no-seeum bites which I attribute to the care of the condo and Deet. The beach is private and beautiful, yet a short walk down the beach to all the "hot spots" of West Bay Beach. The condos are right at the edge of the action but you have seclusion if that is what you are in the mood for. The dock is right at the beach where you can meet your dive boat or water taxi or Ronnie's Barefeet Tours (our personal favorite) for fishing, snorkeling, water and land tours. The caretaker was always available and we felt secure and well taken care of at all times. There are no bad restaurants on West Bay Beach, but we loved the convenience of Las Rocas restaurant, bar and dive center right next door--all run by charming locals. My husband and I were with my 25 year old son and Girlfriend and there was something for everyone. We hope to return and bring more friends and possibly rent out at least 4 units!

  Awesome spot - close to everything -yet just around the corner from the crowd - beach and pool in front is awesome for chilling out and you can walk to everything in west bay or water taxi to west end - perfect location - nice rooms, very comforatble - awesome spot!! well be back!

  This condo is everything it promises to be and more! My husband and I and our daughter and her boyfriend (both 21) stayed here for a week. The upstairs master bedroom, bath and deck is fantastic. As is the spaciousness of the downstairs living area. The main deck overlooks the ocean, pool and beach - just the right place to read or have a cocktail! The location is by far the best thing about this condo. The cruise ships can flood West Bay with people but no one ever wanders down in front of the condo. You will have your own private slice of beach heaven at this condo. We go to Roatan for the shore snorkeling. You will not be disappointed! You can walk the 5 to 10 minutes to find your spot on West Bay or you can walk one minute and snorkel directly in front of the condo. We liked to snorkel off of the steps at Bite On The Beach which is right next door to the condo. Just be mindful of the water taxis. The owners and caretakers were a pleasure to deal with and very responsive. We will return to this property the next time we are in Roatan!

  The location,the spcaiousness of the condo, the caretakers and owners truly make this the best"spot" on the beach. From the moment we looked out at the ocean from the fabulous deck, we knew we had chosen the right place. The privacy of the condo with it's own beach, just a short boardwalk from the lively vibe of the West End, is the best of both worlds. We walked the beach everyday, and never got tired of saying how we had the best place to stay in the West End. The caretakers, Kevin and John, were perfect. Welcoming and friendly and made sure we knew we could call on them for any problems. They also recommended places to explore that were another highlight. The owners provide a cell phone for emergencies and just knowing we had local service made our running around the island in a rental car much more comfortable . This was our first VRBO expierence and we can only hope that any others would be this fantastic and fun.

  We just returned from staying at the Condo Cervantes. We traveled with our family of 7 including 5 kids between 16 and 26. We were so happy with the location. We had our own private beach, yet within a 3 minute walk we were on the busier beach of West Bay with the restaurants and drinking spots that our 20 somethings were interested in. There is a jetty and very small dive resort which separates the condo and beach from the crowds which was perfect. At night we built a camp fire on the beach in front of the condo and relaxed listening to the ocean. There is some snorkeling in front of the condo but within a 15 minute walk is some really good snorkeling on the other end of West Bay Beach. The girls enjoyed lying on the beach while the boys fished during the day and cooked our fish on the grill each night. There was something for everyone. When it rained, there were DVDs and a TV to watch, and an I Home to listen to IPODs, and games to play. We stayed a week but could easily have stayed longer. We miss it already. The caretakers could not have been more accommodating...they were great including Tuli, the guard who made sure we were safe sitting on the beach at night. This is a safe, clean, perfect accommodation that I will rent again if we ever return to Roatan!

  My girlfriend and I just got back from here - rented the lower part of the unit - we each had our own bedroom and bathroom which was awesome! Would definately come back and stay at this condo, awesome deck views, 20 seconds from being in the ocean, 2 minute walk -and thats walking slowly in the sand - to the closest restaurant/bar (Las Rocas dive center & restaurant-also where you would catch the water taxi to West End), and 5 minute walk to numerous beach bars/restaurants at West Bay. The location could not be beat - just around the bluff enough to avoid the cruise shippers when they are in port & congregating on West Bay Beach. Unit had everything we needed, is like your home away from home. I miss it already & cant wait to go back - and this is where I'll be staying!

  We've just returned from a trip to Roatan with a family group of 6 adults and 2 kids. We could not have been more pleased with this condo! It fit us all very comfortably, and we found everything we needed in the well stocked unit. The location absolutely could not have been better. It was quiet and private, but a short walk to wonderful restaurants, and it was easy to grab a water taxi to West Bay. Everyone associated with the condo made our stay extra wonderful, from the property manager Kevin to our great guide/driver Olee. It was truly an amazing vacation, and we would definitely choose this condo again without hesitation.

  We stayed for a week and it wasn't long enough! This place is very relaxing and quiet, which I loved. The house is well stocked, everything you need from a blender to lifejackets. We were there for two days before we discovered that a short walk down the beach brought you to a hub of activities and restaurants. How perfect. We snorkeled in front of the condo, we played in the pool, we watched dvd's from the owner's collection and cooked on the grill. The house was perfect for our family of 4. Lots of privacy for our girls and us. Had we more people, there was still alot of room to grow. I can't say enough good things about this condo. We will definately be returning soon. I highly recommend Condo Cervantes!!
