This apartment was a great find. The location is unbeatable. It was clean, with good kitchen and bathroom facilities. All of our children slept in the large bedroom with two double beds. Windows provided adequate light. Absolutely quiet at night. It is not an apartment with any excess hang-out areas, but in this location in Rome, the hanging out should not be in the apartment.

Six of us, my daughter, her husband and 3 teenage children and myself, spent 12 days in this apartment in January 2011. It was just perfect for our needs, so close to all the attractions and within walking distance of nearly all of them. The apartment is clean and comfortable and very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Close by there is a supermarket and many restaurants and gelato shops. We also went by train to Florence for the day and although very cold it was a most enjoyable day. Elina and her husband Luigi are most helpful, answering all my emails promptly. Thank you both for a very memorable stay. Clare (Sydney), Alison, Ted, Olivia, Amy and Ben (Perth) Australia.

We stayed at the flat this past November. It is well-maintained, reasonably clean and very spacious. The kitchen and bathroom are a good size and very well equipped. The beds and bedding were comfortable. Also, having WI-FI access in the flat is the is real bonus. The location alone is worth the price of the rental. It is very safe, quiet and within walking distance of all of the major attractions, piazza's, restaurants and shops. Just perfect! The owner was quite friendly and helpful. There were a few minor drawbacks. The kitchen and bathrooms both need a really good scrub!! The lighting in the flat is very poor in the 2 main rooms. There is not anywhere to sit except for the beds or on 2 kitchen chairs. There are several flights of steep stairs leading to the flat which could be an issue for someone who has any sort of mobility concerns. We felt rushed out of the flat by the arrival of the owner, cleaning person and next round of guests early the next morning. We had assumed we had at least until 11 am to organize our departure so this was a bit of an unnecessary scramble for everyone involved. Although you can leave your luggage at the building for the day, it will be placed by the little fountain in the stairwell in an unsecured area. Our luggage was perfectly fine. I would highly recommend this flat! The location is just perfect!

We had a magical time in this apartement. Our host was both warm and extremely thoughtful. We enjoyed her company immensely. All the pictures of the home were accurate and the home was stunning!. We will go back and stay at Elina’s apartment in a heart beat. Thank you so very much for making this happen for our family.

We were apprehensive renting an apartment: unsure of the the quality of the accomodations! Imagine our surprise at arriving at the Elina apt. in Rome. The location is spectacular: walking distance to wonderful shopping, sights, restaurants, and grocery stores! Perfect kitchen and washer facilities. The owner, Elina, was hospitable and helpful.

As we approached our apartment, we were surprised at how beautiful the neighborhood was. While it is in one of the nicest areas of Rome, we never felt out of place with our 3 children. In fact, it felt very safe, and there were many inexpensive restaurants from which to chose close by. The location turned out to be ideal. We found that we could walk everywhere. The apartment is beautifully furnished, updated. There was more than enough space for our family of 5 to spread out. The kitchen is is well stocked and can be used to cook anything. We never prepared a dinner in the apartment, but it could be done. The woman we rented from was lovely. She lives one flight up which made it convenient for any questions. She addressed any issues we had with promptness. Even if you've visited the Pantheon during the day, it's worth a night time visit. There are many, many restaurants in the area, and the Pantheon is particularly impressive at night as are the fountains.Don't forget to try the gelato. We became addicted. It is very fun to try out the different gelato places.

The accommodation was perfect. The apartment was very nice and comfortable. I'm particular and this apartment worked out beautifully - from the location to the linens and towels. The layout worked out great as well. It's hard to say what we liked the most - for me it was the bed in the master bedroom. The comforter and linens were great and it's the best nights' sleep I had in Italy. The location was perfect for us. We walked everywhere, from the Vatican to the Colosseum. Each night we walked to dinner and back which was great and we loved all of the shopping. I was a big fan of the fresh produce market at Campo de’ fiori every morning. The vendors were so cheerful and helpful and the cafe on the way was great. I got pastries for the kids every morning on my way back from the open market. Elina, thanks for your help with the apartment in Rome. I can't wait to go back.

It was perfect for our family of 5 and would easily accommodate 6. I would definately stay here again and would recommend to all. We spent six days in this apartment. Lots of neighbourhood groceries available, including a splendid market. There are cafes where you can sit out, esp. in the evening and enjoy a glass of wine. The apartment is well maintained and Elina was very helpful The photos tell all: nicely furnished and clean, with large windows to let in the breeze. We hope to go back and stay there again.

We are a family of five with three children: ages 6, 10 and 12 years and we couldn't have selected a more perfect accommodation as a base for viewing the wonderful city of Rome. The location was perfect, just blocks from Piazza Navona. From there, getting to all the primary sights such as the Vatican, Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain was easy. Also, grocery stores and restaurants were minutes away so we could go back the apartment for a rest break and then enjoy the European late dinners and evening strolls. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back. Thank you!

My stay couldn't have been better. The apartment is cozy and quiet, and is a relaxing retreat from a busy day out and about beautiful Rome. The location couldn't be better, just steps away from lovely Piazza Farnese and Campo dei Fiori, both perfect for people watching over a coffee or glass of wine. Italy Elina, the owner, was helpful and professional. I’ll be back for sure.

I spent three days in Elina's apartment: great location, nice restaurants just around the corner. Living in the apartment made me experience life in Rome as a resident rather than a tourist. The decoration of the apartment is adequate, as well as the appliances.I would recommend it to anyone who wants an authentic experience of life in Rome, with all the sights within walking distance.

Tons of great restaurants and ice-cream places within blocks! The apartment itself is very cozy and Italian with a nice kitchen and nice bathroom. Wifi works great all over the property. Rome is beautiful and this apartment was the corner stone for a great adventure! I highly recommend, we will be returning..

My husband and I throughly enjoyed our stay at this charming (and much larger than we expected!) apartment in Rome. Not only was it situated in a great location for all of our tourist activities, it gave us the quiet and privacy of a neighborhood that we were looking for. We couldn't have been happier with the service we received from the owner upon arrival and will definitely be using this same location for future visits. Thanks for everything!

The apartment was far and above our best experience. The location is tremendous. It is very close to all the sites, but even better, the area of Navona square is just perfect for a traveller in Rome. It is around the corner from endless piazzas, full of locals and tourists of all ages. We had countless places to eat and drink, as well as two big outdoor markets. We would stay in this apartment again in a heartbeat.

Would recommend the il Fico restaurant -very good food, nice people, and an upbeat spot for food and drink. We would recommend the apartment to friends and relatives alike.

The apartment worked well for my large family it had everything we needed to make our stay in Rome perfect. It was fully self contained, well maintained, and clean. There were local shops nearly just outside our door for all the supplies you could need. Walking distance to the Vatican, Piazza Navona and lots more. The owner, Elina was absolutly wonderful and extremely helpful. Even looked into where we could park our vehicle for the week while in Rome before we arrived. This made it so much easier for us. We would recommend this property to anyone even to someone like us - a family with 4 children. The apartment was so close to everything it made our week in Rome so enjoyable and by day 3 of our 7 days we almost felt like locals. We all loved our stay and will hopefully one day return. Thank you very much Elina for a great experience in Rome when we return we will be sure to look you up.

The apartment is as advertised. We arrived late at night (11:30pm or so) from our flight and were welcomed by the owner, Luigi. He was very accommodating, explaining to us about the neighborhood and the workings of the apartment. Later on in the trip when we needed help booking an early morning taxi to take us to the airport he was very helpful, calling the taxi company, giving precise directions to the apartment and letting us know that the price quoted was reasonable. The apartment was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was stocked with everything that we would need (espresso maker, pots and pans, etc.) We cooked dinner ourselves several nights. There are two grocery stores nearby where you can get all the fixings to make a delicious Italian dinner. There are also several good restaurants nearby. Taverna was one of our favorites. If you walk around the neighborhood at night you will see which restaurants are full of locals, which will help you figure out which ones to go to. The apartment is well situated for seeing the sites and walking around the city. Our first day we walked from the apartment to Piazza Navona, Campo di Fiore, the Pantheon, the Forum/Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish steps, then back to the apartment. It was a full day, but all of these sites are within walking distance of the apartment. In the opposite direction is the Vatican City, with Saint Peter’s being less than 1 mile away and the Vatican museums a bit further (probably 1.3 miles or so). Overall it’s a great location to see the sites from. Two things must be mentioned. First, although there is a washing machine there is no dryer. This is more common in Europe, and the apartment has a clothes drying rack. For us, it was no problem to hang our clothes to dry. When in Rome, right? Secondly, the apartment is two rooms (one with two king beds and one with one king bed), plus the kitchen/dining area and bathroom. For my family, this is fine since we are used to sharing rooms when traveling. If you are traveling with your family, it will work fine since the bedroom is spacious and there is enough room to put your luggage and unpack and still feel like you have space.I would rent the apartment again and recommend to a friend. In all it was a great value given all the amenities and the location of the apartment.

We had the pleasure of staying in this property in March of 2009 and truely enjoyed it. Our family of 5 included 2 children, 2 parents and a grandparent, ages ranging from 9 - 67 years old. We were very comfortable in this apartment. We loved the location and the authenticity of the building, including carrying the old fashioned large iron keys in our pocket - it was very novel for us and we loved it! Elina, maybe we will see you next year because we would like to rent again your lovely apartment.
