DUNE WALKOVERS - Rosemary Beach made a commitment to protect the environment by not building beyond the coastal construction control line, or buffer zone, landward of the beach. In keeping with that commitment, nine dune walkovers have been built providing residents and guests beach access. Two of the walkovers are wheelchair accessible and contain restrooms.

BUTTERFLY GARDEN - In the Northwest corner of Rosemary Beach at West Kingston Road is an elaborate butterfly garden. This garden was conceived as a display garden that would emphasize the significance of the native landscape. A wooden walkway weaves through colorful plantings that lure butterflies.

FOOT PATHS - The Rosemary Beach Fitness Trail & Walking Tour is a 2.3 mile trail that utilizes both sand paths & boardwalks to wind through the town’s native landscape, parks & public spaces; & incorporates 4 fitness stations that include exercise apparatuses for stretching & strength training.

    If we made one mistake, it was not in also booking your guest house. We arrived with 14 in our party, and after two nights at the house, we realized we should have followed your advice and booked Both the main house and the carriage house…now that would have been perfect. In any event, I need the name of your decorator…my husband and I own a small beach house in Wilmington, NC. And we would like to do a makeover “modeled after” the furnishings in this home. We have been going to NC for years, but when our friends insisted on a trip south, we relented and decided to join in the festivities and we are really glad we did1 what a wonderful community, and the beaches are second-to-none ( an I am a bit biased)…Oh, and one more thing, the last night of our visit we had our own little party at a local watering hole called Shades, and I’ll send you some photos of my husband Jerome dancing with one of the “locals”…far, far too much to drink, and the next day he spent the whole ride back to Augusta apologizing for his behavior. That alone should get me another vacation soon!! Thanks again for all your help… Lawanda Johnson

    To Whom It may Concern: If you ever consider selling this home, please give us the first call! My gosh, I simply cannot imagine a more idyllic setting. Our kids spent so much time in the pool, I thought they were going to shrivel- up into little munchkins…my husband commented that he and 4 of his buddies will come back for a “golf outing’ this fall, and he will contact you for rates and availability, and also to see if you can assist in booking a deep-sea-fishing excursion for the group.     When we were planning our spring break, one of my sisters suggested we rent a house instead of a bunch of motel rooms over in Panama City, like we did last year. Your house was even better than we expected, and being in Rosemary was a nice break from all the college kids! Your home is very nicely appointed, and we loved the different pools…we had 6 adults and 5 children in our group, but the accommodations were plenty spacious to handle all of us! I did some reading on Rosemary, and it’s development by one of the finest “Town Planners” in the world, and I can see what they envisioned has matured into a magnificent collection of urban housing, streetscapes, restaurants, shopping, and…THE BEACH! We had wonderful weather for every day of our stay, and coming from Greensburg, PA ( outside of Pittsburgh), this was such a nice change of pace. Sorry to say that we had to almost “smuggle” the kids back into the cars to get them ready for the trip back home…we are definitely booking next year, and I will call you about adding the carriage house to our accommodations as we have another family wanting to join us!
