Our desert retreat is located in a small, private development of patio style condominium homes. Situated in an upscale neighborhood of million dollar homes you can enjoy morning walks from the front door without the noise of traffic. Carefree is a walkable town located in the magnificent Sonoran Desert. Bird watchers will delight in the sights and sounds of the morning wake-up crew of Gambel's quail and Cactus Wren. A short stroll brings you into the center of Carefree where you can enjoy shops and galleries or dine in an eclectic variety of restaurants.
Our beautiful desert home is light and airy and tastefully furnished in styles of the modern southwest. The unit features two patios – one large, south facing patio with lounge chairs to relax on and take in the afternoon sun as well as a table with four chairs on both patios for outdoor dining. The second patio is located just off the kitchen where you can enjoy breakfast or gaze at a beautiful Arizona sunset. The resort style swimming pool and hot tub are a few steps away from your back patio. The unit has a split floor plan assuring your privacy should you have guests visit during your stay. Both master bedrooms have new queen size beds. There are two flat screen televisions, DVD and CD players, a gas fireplace, and a Weber gas grill. The unit has WiFi capability throughout. We have a large collection of books for your enjoyment as well as a DVD and CD library for your entertainment. This unit is all on one level and features an attached garage with private entry as well as an additional -off the street - parking space.
Less than four miles from the condo are over a dozen golf courses waiting to challenge your skills. World class shopping awaits you in neighboring Scottsdale. If hiking and day trips are your desire you can hop on I-17 North and be in Sedona in two hours and the Grand Canyon in four hours. From golf, to swimming, hiking, strolling, tennis, star gazing, and so much more this desert paradise is waiting for you to explore. We very much enjoyed out stay at this great condo. The owner provided everything we could possibly need and everything was of excellent quality. The entire property is very well maintained and clean. The pool is very close and the complex is just a short walk to downtown Carefree. Great shopping and beautiful scenery. We highly recommend this rental and we will be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We stayed at this condo for the month of April 2011. The condo is centrally located and close to great restaurants and shopping. The condo is very comfortable. It has everything you need and is very clean and well maintained. The owners were great to deal with and the condo property is quiet and nicely landscaped. Can't wait to visit again!~Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.

We stayed in this condo the month of February 2011. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable, well decorated with a kitchen equipped with anything a cook may need. We enjoyed the quietness of the patio and the walks to the Town of Carefree, as well as the nearby Town of Cave Creek. The owners were great, always so very helpful in making our stay wonderful. Thank you !!Recommended for: Age 55+.

Clean, comfortable, well equipped and maintained, and the owners were very helpful in ensuring that we enjoyed our stay. The town of Carefree and nearby Cave Creek offer great shopping, restaurants and things to do all in a small town atmosphere. Convenient to all of the major attractions of the Phoenix area. We stayed in this condo from Feb 1st until the middle of April 2010. The condo is located in a very convenient area, close to downtown Carefree. The unit is very nicely furnished, with a complete kitchen and even has beach towels to take with the short distance to the pool/hot tub. The owners are very easy to work with and immediately solve any problem/concern you might have. We would recommend this condo to anyone wanting to stay in the Carefree and Cave Creek area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+.

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and relaxing condo so much in the Winter of '08, we returned in January of '09. The condo has everything you could possibly need to make yourself at home. Your decor is comfortingly homey and yet suave & sophisticated. The front & side patio areas are perfect for relaxing in the warmth of the AZ sun anytime of day! About the owner: We lived in North Scottsdale for a few years before being transferred to the east coast. When vacation time rolled around we always chose Arizona as our number one destination. We love the Town of Carefree with its unique beauty, starlit nights, fabulous mountain views, and breath-taking sunsets! We think you will agree!
