Only a three hour drive from Phoenix or Scottsdale, this is the perfect 2 bedroom 2 bathroom cabin. The entire home has been completely refurbished with hand-laid wood floors, heated slate bathroom floors, beautiful knotty-pine cabinets throughout with granite countertops. We installed hand-finished pine ceilings and antiqued bronze and copper light fixtures and accents throughout.
Unlike many cabins, you won't find any old, nasty garage-sale furniture here. All furnishings are brand new and professionally chosen. This is our dream vacation home and looks that way. Every room is decorated in country rustic pine furniture and feels warm and inviting. Our cabin is warm, bright and open with amazing attention to detail. The master bedroom has an over-stuffed queen bed with a separate reading area. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and twin bunk beds for kids. The leather couch in the living room opens to a queen bed. All appliances are new and you have a well stocked kitchen. Everything you need is included. Just bring your clothes and food and enjoy.
Come relax on our huge covered front porch with a glass of wine and watch the blue jays in the summer or watch your children build snow men in the winter. Or, cozy up next to a roaring log fire on a cold snowy night on one of our over-stuffed leather couches.
If you are looking for a little adventure, our home is only about 25 minutes from Sunrise ski resort, less than 5 minutes from HonDah casino. If you're a golfer, Pinetop Lakes Country Club is just a little farther east and if you're looking for a little nature time, Woodland lake park (as well as several other lakes and streams) is only a minute or two away. You'll find some of the best fishing hiking or horseback riding in Arizona just minutes away. The location is truly majestic. The house is located near the far end of Pinetop on a mountain. It's the perfect get awy from the valley's heat, noise and crowds.
If you need to get away from it all, want to find a romantic spot, or are looking for the perfect gathering place for your family, this is it. Why the Owner Chose Pinetop-Lakeside
As home builders, when my wife and I found this location, we knew this was the spot for us. It's located in a quiet residential neighborhood. The house is on the top of a small mountain and is surrounded by tall pines, aspen and oak trees. Because of it's location, it's one of the highest homes in the Pinetop area and as such is cooler than Showlow amd most of the surrounding areas. As such it is wonderfully cool in the summer and usually gets more snow in the winter than the surrounding area. It's just heaven and our family and friends love to come up. We hope you get the opportunity to enjoy our little slice of heaven.

Wow!!! I took my family up for Thanksgiving and had the best time. Loved the cold nights with a roaring log fire in the stone fireplace and the warmth of the beautiful family room. Playing games with my two young kids and exploring in the woods together was wonderful.The location was perfect. It's close to everything but solitary enough to make you think you're the only one up here. Did I mention how clean and perfect everyhting was? We will come back again and again. Thank you Steve for a great family getaway!

Where to begin...The home was better than advertised. It was neat, clean, and well maintained. The kitchen had everything one would need to cook a meal, bake a cake, etc. There were nice little touches like board games to play with the kids, and a sippy cup just in case....and my husband was quite complimentary of the coffee pot...it made great coffee! The photos were accurate as far as the furnishings, amenties etc... but they could not convey the warm atmosphere of the home. I appreciated the quiet of the location as well as the proximity to everything. The house easily accomodated our family of four, including two young children. The owner was easy to work with and was quick to respond to any questions.....and we had lots of questions as it was our first time using VRBO and our first time in Pinetop. He provided perfect directions to the home, as well as information about the area. Eddie's Country Store is just down the hill from the house and has everything one might need...and more. Overall, the home was better than advertised. The experience was just as you might hope it would be when you look for and find a place to spend time on your vacation.

This pet-free/smoke-free cabin was perfect for our family of three. It is EXTREMELY clean and very comfortable. Our 5-year-old son who has allergies & asthma didn't have any problems at all during our 3-night stay which was most important to us. We enjoyed Woodland Lake Park nearby that had a really nice playground, fishing, walking trail. We look forward to staying here again!

We stayed at this home for a couple of days after Christmas and skied at Sunrise. We really enjoyed the home. It is very nice and very clean and comfortable. The location is great. We will definately rent again.

Stayed here with my kids. Great area, lots to do and beautiful location. The house is beautiful. We loved the heated floors! We can't wait to come back up this winter for the ski season.

My family visited this cabin last summer and just booked it for a week this winter. It was the perfect get-away to spend time with my kids. The home is beautiful inside and the surroundings are ideal. If you like to fish, golf or ski, get up to the White Mountains!

We stayed here during October. The trees changing colors was absolutely stunning. The home is cozy, clean and the perfect spot for a get away. I loved sitting on the large covered porch. It could not have been more perfect. We can hardly wait to come back. Everything we needed was already there. Thank you for letting us stay in your home.
