The McDonough House, built in 1870, is designed to be your home away from home. Vacations and getaways are meant to be just that - why be cramped in a hotel room when you can have a home - with all the amenities!
The McDonough House has two units - perfect for family gatherings: one upstairs and one down – they both have private entrance. Separately, they sleep 4 in complete comfort - together 8 (portable bedding may be added in case of additional children for a small fee).

FEES:
$150 per night $1,000 per week (7 nights) - no cleaning fee/pet fee with week stay Less than 3 day stay - $25 cleaning fee

Held with a credit card (one night's stay or you may choose to pay in full upfront)

INFORMATION: The McDonough House is walking distance of River Street, Colonial Cemetery, museums, fine dining, tours, night life, Savannah College of Art and Design and is located in the heart of the beautiful Historic District of Savannah, Georgia. Public transportation is at your front door, pedicabs, horse and buggy, trolley tours - we will provide you all the information.
We are 15 minutes from Hunter Army Airfield; 45 minutes from Fort Stewart; 20 minutes from Savannah International Airport and Gulfstream and in the heart of the Savannah College of Art and Design district; 10 minutes from Paula Deen's Lady and Sons Restaurant,Bonaventure Cemetery - always famous, but moreso since the book and movie, "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil"; beautiful Tybee Island Beach is just a short 15 minute drive; Hilton Head Island – 30 minutes away; championship golfing, boat charters, dinner boat cruises, mystery dinner cruise, water ferry, historic Fort Pulaski, Fort Jackson, gambling boat - 10 minutes away; - the list goes on and on for things to see and do.
FEATURES: Dining room, bedroom with queen size bed, living room with sofa sleeper, tile bath with jacuzzi tub to end your evenings and relax after a long day of touring the Hostess City of the South. The kitchen has ice maker, microwave, full size fridge and stove, coffee pot, toaster, pots & pans, dishes…..all you need (if you chose to cook). Living room and bedroom have gas fireplaces…cozy and comfortable with central heat and a/c.

Advance shopping (groceries, drinks, etc.) available upon request for small fee.
CHECK IN: Check in hours are normally from 3-4 p.m., if it is available, we can try and get you in sooner.
Check out is at noon!
CANCELLATION POLICY:
One month out - Full refund
Less than 30 days - No refund of deposit but we will give you a gift certificate good for another time, subject to availability (due to loss of revenue by holding the reservation).
3 day minimum stay for Labor Day, Memorial Day and 4th of July - regular rate
St Patrick's Day - 3 day minimum - no refunds - $250 per night
