Just in - a TWO BEDROOM at the Marriott Surf Club - at only $3200 for seven nights of heaven. The lazy river is exclusive to the Surf and is tons of relaxing fun for the whole family. So much space - sleeps 8 comfortably and is a great deal. A full kitchen, washer/dryer, large living and dining room, and huge master suite with soaker tub, large tiled shower and another separate bath for the second bedrm. Two balconies, 3 TV's, DVD, and so much more. Dec. 18 - 25 or leave the 24th and be home for Christmas day. Still a great price and very hard to find. Dec. 18 - 25 is available at the Marriott Ocean Club in a large Studio, sleeps 4 with a sleeper sofa, has a kitchenette stocked for 4, balcony, access to washers and dryers in the building and of course is attached to the wonderful Marriott Stellaris Hotel and Casino. The resort is amazing with the activities, pools, restaurants, and ocean right there. It is priced at $2200.
We have Dec. 19 - 26, 2009 in a one bedroom villa (sleeps 4) at the Divi Phoenix on Palm Beach. The one bedroom is only $1900. Conde Nast has voted Palm Beach and Eagle Beach two of the ten best beaches in the world. The whole resort has just been redone and the restaurants and public areas are spectacular! They are also on the beach in a lovely private area. They are sold out for Christmas but we have it!
We also have a one bedroom at the Paradise Beach Villas on Eagle Beach for Dec. 19 - 26 - think quieter, smaller (only 80 villas), gorgeous and only $1400. (also sleeps 4). Check the website and see the beauty of the resort and again - on the beach which is spectacular!

The Marriotts' Ocean Clubs in Aruba and the Divi Phoenix and Paradise Beach Villas are all luxury vacations beyond belief. Go to the Marriott website link and check out all the amenities plus the adjacent Marriott Stellaris Resort and Casino, a 7 star hotel and a huge, exciting casino. You have full use of all three sites except for the pools. There is a free concierge on site for you too.
The Divi Phoenix and the Paradise Beach Villas also have a great websites and shows more than I can tell. They are luxurious and in superb locations.
Aruba is everything you could ever want and then some. Be active or relax. Go on the gorgeous private beach, snorkel right at the hotel, play volleyball, rent a jet ski, or lay in your own little hut soaking up the rays. It always feels cooler due to a warm breeze all year long so you are never too hot and no humidity. That's a great plus for Carribean travel. Perfect weather! And you are out of the Hurricane Belt!!!
Be sure to check out the Mandara Spa at the Marriott. Schedule a couples massage, body wrap or just work out. It's fabulous. And just charge it to your room.
There are many fantastic restaurants plus movies within walking distance so you don't need a car- just take a walk and choose a different place every night. There is a Hertz car rental on site if you want to go to Baby Beach for the day. I can recommend some great restaurants and activities before you go but you will have a concierge at your disposal too.
And best of all - pricing for restaurants and activities are about the same as in the states - no crazy $$ like in Hawaii or Europe right now. That makes quite a difference in your bottom line! American money is accepted everywhere so no need to get florin.

- Snorkeling is great here but all you have to do is sit in the shallow water and the fish come to you! Angel fish, puffer fish and others I don't know. Wow!

Year Purchased: 2007
I am a reading specialist in the elementary schools and I also supervise student teachers for a university. I love travel and we like to do that a lot. We bought several time shares and due to the economy we are not using them all right now (we do reserve our right to Aruba twice a year)!! By offering them for rent we are able to pay our maintenance fees and keep them for better times.

We adore the relaxed atmosphere at the Marriott and all the pools, restaurants and even the theaters within walking distance. Snorkeling and other water sports are great fun and we never had a bad weather day yet. We have stayed at the Marriott Surf Club and Ocean Club for two weeks for the last two years with our children and grandchildren for one week and one week alone, and of all the Marriott's this one has got to be the best. There is so much to offer in addition to the sun and surf. There are many restaurants both on the grounds and attached to the villas and they are reasonable too. there are planned children's activities and water slides, kiddie pools and adult pools. There is fantastic shopping and movie theaters just a block away, along with a great selection of restaurants including my favorite, sushi. The casino is great, the spa is gorgeous, and of course the villas are luxury all the way. Call me for specifics and whether you book or not I will be happy to direct you to some of my favorite things to do and places to eat. You will want to come back again and again - most people do. That's how we bought the time share last year - love at first sight!
