Looking for some peace and quiet? This is the place! Wonderful cozy cabin that is as neat as a pin - with comfy beds - well equipped kitchen - and movies for those nights you want to stay in. The beach in front is rather rocky- and a little dicey at high tide (consult the tide chart) - but Cannon Beach is a few minutes drive up the road in one direction - and Manzanita in the other direction. We enjoyed our stay here so much - we'll be back.

We spent 3 beautiful days at this cottage. It is wonderfully quiet, fabulous secluded location; within easy reach of 2 beach towns. We never saw more than 2 other people on the beach right "below" house. A very special location. All was well stocked and place was very clean. Would recommend for anyone wishing the seclusion and "private" beach and fabolus view, yet closeness to Cannon Beach and Manzenita.

We had a terrific time! The house was perfect for our family and the kids had a wonderful time visiting their starfish and hermit crab friends in the tide pools at the south end of the beach. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. We had fun taking day trips to Cannon Beach, Manzanita, Astoria, and Tillamook. We can't wait to visit again!

The tiny community of Falcon Cover is ideal for a quiet weekend and this beach house offers the perfect venue to fully relax. Located midway in the 13-mile stretch between Manzanita and Cannon Beach, this is also an excellent location for sampling four of the best restaurants on Oregon's north coast - Newman's 988 and Irish Table in Cannon Beach; Bread and Ocean in Manzanita and the Nehalem River Inn just a few miles south of Manzanita. Add in Wanda's in Nehalem for breakfast or lunch and the Manzanita Wine Bar for wine offerings and you've covered all meals. Beach walking and nearby hiking through Oswald West State Park give you the opportunity to walk off the calories. Or be a hermit in the cabin with its full kitchen, plus hundreds of movies. Super comfortable bed and the sofas in the living room invite you to snuggle up and finish the novel you've had by your bedside for weeks.

This cozy little house is a good place for people seeking quiet and beautiful views of the rugged Oregon coast. Several moderate hikes are located nearby as are sandy beaches in Cannon Beach and Manzanita. The house itself has all the amenities for preparing food, for catching up on reading, or for revisiting classic films. We like it for the quiet.

Absolutely loved our stay at Falcon Cove with our two small children. The house was terrific, especially the side deck with the beautiful view of the ocean. The cabin is convenient to Cannon Beach, Hug Point, Arcadia, Manzanita, and our favorite with the kids, the lovely lovely walk to Cape Falcon (stroller friendly). The cabin was equipped with an amazing video library that has something for all ages; and a helpful binder with things to do in the area. We would stay again!

I loved this house! Very well equipped. Weather wasn't good so caught up on the available movies. My only disappointment was the beach. Really isn't any. Just lots of rocks, so motored north for my walks on the beach. My favorite part was the QUIET!!! I will be back soon. Denny
Owner response:The beach is rocky but if you keep an eye on the tide charts there is a nice sandy beach for walking at low tide. There are nice sandy beaches at all hours a short drive away.

We totally enjoyed our stay in this home near Falcon Cove; the house was just as presented on the website. The views are spectacular outside, and the house is warm and cozy inside with many small touches--like nightlights and a comfortable bed!--that make you feel at home. We particularly appreciated the notebook full of ideas for what to do, where to go to eat, etc. and the wonderful DVD collection. Our Oregon coast vacation was just about perfect except for lots of rain. Even so, the thoughtful owner of the house provided enough rain gear for us all. We learned that you just put on a poncho and go, regardless of the weather. Even that was fun! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. The next time we come back, we'll stay longer!

The cottage at Arch Cape/Falcon Cove is well and truly amazing! We spent a bit over a week at this magical location and are glad we did. The cottage is located in a brilliant, natural setting that allows youthe feeling of privacy without isolation. The sounds of the sea, the working fireplace, the natural surrounds all made for a truly memorable stay. And, the place is fully equipt with anything that a traveller could need. And whilst you're there, check out Manzanita, a fantastic little beach town nearby. If the wild Oregon Coast is your idea of fantastic, book in at Falcon Cove.

This cottage was a wonderful place to stay in a magical part of the country. The cottage itself was well equipped, the beds and living room were comfortable, and the fireplace and views were very nice. At low tide, the beach is a great place for a long walk to tidal pools at Arch Cape where starfish and other critters can be seen and touched. Sunset over the Pacific, and fog rolling in during the day, were over the top. We also saw a bald eagle on the beach. The short drive from Hwy 101 to the cottage was one of the more beautiful scenes on our trip to the coast. I hope I can come back!

He loved our stay. Our 2 boston terriers loved to run on the beach. The cabin is very cozy and comfy. The bed was very comfortable. Great location, affordable price, and we loved all of the amenities. In case of bad weather there is lots to do in the cabin with games, books and movies. It was a great vacation for a family of 3 and 2 pups. We loved the view and listening to the waves all night long. We would love to come back some day. Thanks.

Our family recently spent a wonderful winter week-end at the Falcon Cove house. Walked on the beach and in the woods between winter storms; snuggled up in front of the fireplace watching the ocean and several of the movies in the extensive video library at the house.

A fabulous place to stay. The cabin is cute and cozy with a specatacular view. Cross the street, walk down the hill, and you are on the beach. Or go for a walk in the neighborhood. Very private, very quiet. Highly recommend.

This place stores some of my most wonderful memories. From the perfect beach, the woods, and the wonderful shopping areas close by. This has been my 12th year in your home, and again it is never disappointing. Thank you for sharing your house with us. My husband and I look forward to visiting your beach home every year.

This little cottage has everything you need to refresh your soul, have some fun, soak in the ocean breezes -- not not break the bank. I love falling to sleep here to the distant roar of the waves down on Cove Beach.
