Thank you so much for the warm welcome and hospitality! Dalton and I have everlasting memories and hope to return soon. This surf trip was a graduation present for my son and could not have been any more perfect… as he stated “Mom thank you so much, this is the best time of my life!” Once again thank you, the hospitality, the stories, the view and the surf are the best anyone could ever dream of.

Thank you so much for your hospitality. Your resort is beautiful and so relaxing. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed surfing, beach combing, swimming, hiking, and most of all just relaxing. We had such fun out on the boat and loved exploring the countryside. We feel so “at home” at your place and can’t wait to come back.

Looking through some of the entries written by previous guests, one thing is perfectly clear… you definitely provide the HOSPITALITY! Although it is something every guest can respect and appreciate, I think its what you do above and beyond that will keep em all coming back! It’s exactly what made our one night stay turn into three so easily. I am eager to get back to the states and tell friends, family and surf addicts alike of our experience at Two Brothers.

My stay at Two Brothers was nothing short of excellent. The pool and rooms were beautiful and I enjoyed hanging out with Auggie and Marsh. Going to the turtle reserve was a great experience, being able to play soccer with the family that lived there. I enjoyed going to the tide pools and seeing fish, sea stars, urchins, and of course tons of barnacles. We were even lucky enough to see a teeny-tiny sea snake. Going to Granada with Susan a guide was wonderful. All in all the trip was fantastic! Elisa, April 2009

What an amazing trip this has been! I had heard so many great things about Two Brothers prior to coming, and this trip far exceeded my already soaring expectations. While I have an intense few months of training ahead of me as I prepare for the 2010 Olympic Games, it is nothing compared to what I will be doing to get ready for next years surf vacation to be ready to surf with Robert and the boys! We had a great week here at Two Brothers Surf Resort. We loved this unspoiled land of Nicaragua. We found the local people to be friendly and simple, always ready to smile or return a friendly wave as we bounced by them on the dusty roads. Each day we took hundreds of photos of the natural beauty of the area: hiking the stream bed north of the property exploring the tide-pools and sea caves seeing literally thousands of sea turtles come ashore to lay their eggs at low tide under the light of the full moon hiking and exploring the salt flats and rivers edge where it meets the break at Popoyo walking miles and miles of unihabited beach reading and watching the beautiful sunsets by the pool This has been a week full of adventure and experiences! For us being from Belgium and Chile respectively, Nicaragua is an exotic country. Within the Nicaraguan context, Two Brothers itself can be considered exotic: “Exotic within the exotic.” However, a perfect blend: stylishly designed within a beautiful natural context: the sea views, the little valley behind… a refreshing dip in the pool at eye-level with the “zoplilotes” or vultures soaring around, the screaming of flocks of parrots breaking the silence at sunset. Word cannot begin to express my gratitude for the hospitality, friendship and care you all extended to us. Sitting on the porch, the wind doing its best to keep us cool, looking out over Popoyo and listening to the irie mix of tunes coming in from next door. The temporary home to our new French friends from San Francisco – writing this note carries a bittersweet resonance. Tomorrow we leave, but my mind drifts off to all that we enjoyed here: Boat trips to Dairy Queens, living a Corona commercial by the pool at sunset, surfing with the boys at the Beach Break and snorkeling at the tide pools, buying fish at the Astriello fish market, riding Modoc and Pablo, pizza a Rana Roja, fresh caught tuna – all held together with rum, cerveza, and plenty of reading and relaxing… Pete, April 2008
