July or part of June/July rental in the exclusive town of Bay Head.(one month total) Steps from the beach. There are beach views from every bedroom (see photo) to show you just how close to the beach we are.
The first floor has a large living room, formal dining room and eat-in kitchen. We have one bedroom on the first floor with a full bed and adjoining full bath. The second floor includes 5 bedrooms and a full bath (2 twin beds in one room, 3 queen sized beds, a bunk with a full size bed on the lower bunk and a single bed on the upper bunk). The third floor has one bedroom with a queen sized bed and a full bathroom.
The house has old fashioned charm. Will provide more pictures on request. Many an hour is spent on the wrap around screened in porch. The kitchen area is large and the stainless GE Profile stove and stainless side by side refrigerator with ice in the door and freezer drawer on the bottom were purchased two years ago. Step into the back yard and pick whatever might be ready in our organic garden to grace your table should you choose.
This is a family home, owned since 1958.
The side yard can be seen in the picture provided. We like to play bocce ball or croquet there. Those games as well as boogie boards and bikes are available for your use. Between our house and the beach there is a unique road that runs the length of the beach in Bay Head called East Avenue. It is a road where pedestrians rule. There is a steady stream of joggers, bikers, walkers, moms strolling babies, and dog walkers.
The train to New York City has its last stop in Bay Head and is walking distance from the house. One half hour away one can take the ferry into New York City.
