This home invites you in and accommodates your group in beautiful comfort. Each of the bedrooms is a private retreat, with beautiful bedding, private baths and gorgeous views. The Living Room area provides for great family gatherings of board games, stories of the day, and movies around the wood burning rock fireplace in the evenings. A separate den accommodates children's games, foosball and video games. Dining in for a large gathering is no problem, with adult seating around the great round dining table, with the breakfast table for the kids.
Our home is located on a level lot on the golf course in Northstar Resort. Summer activities are endless, and include the "members only" tennis courts, swimming complex and fitness center. The village at Northstar offers family activities such as movie night, boutique shopping and restaurants. Hiking trails abound the surroundings outdoors for wildlife viewing and wildflower walks.
In the winter, the golf course provides for a beautiful winter walk and there are miles of trails adjacent to the course for more adventurous winter walks or cross country skiing. You can sled right outside your door. We are located very conveniently on the bus route that operates within the resort, so you really don't have to get in your car at all once you arrive.
We are located minutes from Lake Tahoe for all the nostalgia the lake has to offer, including Tahoe City restaurants and shopping.
The quaint and historic town of Truckee is 10 minutes away, with great restaurants and shopping, live music and sightseeing.

This house was fantastic! We were 3 families of 7 adults and 6 kids (ages 1-6) and couldn't have been happier with this house. The house has tons of rooms, beds and bathrooms and the pictures don't do the home justice. The home advertises a sledding hill right out front, and it's true to word unlike other places we've rented. We saw several families drive to the sledding hill (golf course out front) with their kids. The owner is very laid back and easy to work with as well. We will definitely come back to this property.

My husband and I along with three other couples stayed in this "Oh so perfect", home in January of 2007. The location was perfect, the view was gorgeous, and each room having its own bathroom was ideal. Each couple had their own privacy when they needed it. The house is beautiful and extremely comfortable. The village is a short shuttle ride away, and had great food and entertainment to offer. We will make this an annual trip. Thanks so much. What a perfect house for our family of 6 adults and 7 children. Everyone had their own bed and the house fit all of our family needs in every way. We would definitely recomment it and will definitely rent it again.

We loved this spacious, well-appointed cabin! We had 6 adults who craved a comfortable space to keep 6 active boys busy. This place fit the bill! We loved the beauty inside and out of the cabin; being able to watch the kids sled from the picture windows; the prompt shuttle ride to Northstar Village and the slopes; and access to the rec center. The owner was easy to work with too. We plan on booking more vactions here.

We've stayed here several times over the years and love it!!! The house has everything you need, the location is fantastic and the shuttle service is very convenient. It's not far from Squaw Valley or Alpine if you're inclined to ski there and I always look forward to staying here.

This home had everything we could dream of. We enjoyed sledding with the grandkids and the "FUN BUS" shuttle to the ski resort was quick and convenient. What a lovely place- it was perfect for our family vacation. Comfortable beds, warm quilts and abundant bathrooms made this place a dream. The location is fantastic. Thank you for everything!
