Fabulous Villa surrounded by tropical plants with total privacy. Comes with a caged monkey to greet you. The Villa is built on 7 levels with a roof top view of the Mediterranean. Each bedroom has its own marble in suite bathroom. The Villa comes with a Major Domo available to provide any services requested such as preparing gourmet meals. Villa Mimac is the only large rental offering on site assistance 6 days per week and 24 hour emergency assistance.
The Villa is within walking distance of the wonderful 5th Avenue of Playa del Carmen, 350 feet from the sea and from a viewing deck, vistas of the sea and Cozumel.

- Private boat tour for 8+ available for scuba diving with dive master, snorkeling, fishing and/or touring the coastline at reasonable prices with our former boat captain, Felix, who offers the only service for all of these activities on the Riviera. The Yucatan hosts many Mayan Ruins including Chichen-Itza, Elkbalam, Coba and Tulum which are as close as 1 hour away to 4 hours by car or bus. Xcaret, the world famous ecological park is only 4 miles south of Playacar with the wild life of both flora and fauna, water activities and live theater available. Xel-Ha offers many water activities and is just south of Playa del Carmen. Many cenotes are available for swimming and/or exploring. At Maroma, north on Hwy 307 about 25 minutes, is a delightful Saturday night concert (free). There are 2 fabulous restaurants on the site as well. This is at the entrance of the famous Maroma Orient Express Hotel (seen often on the TV program for the Rich and Famous.

Lynn is a retired attorney from Texas. Both he and wife, Margaret, were active in politics on national, state and local levels while living in Wichita Falls and Dallas, Texas, volunteer work, especially in the field of Mental Health and Higher Education.
Why the Owner Chose Playacar
We built Villa Mimac so that it would be large enough to host our 3 daughters, their husbands and 6 grandchildren who come for frequent visits. We also have many friends who come several times a year. The Villa is designed for entertainment of larger groups, but is still comfortable for only 2 people.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The community in Playa del Carmen is truly international. In fact, the north end of the walking street, 5th Ave., is called "Little Italy". We are within 10 minutes of 5th Ave. by foot (closer than the "all inclusives", whose guests walk back and forth daily). We are 3 minutes from the sea and beach and 8 minutes from many more beaches. By car or taxi, more of the most beautiful open beaches one can imagine are just minutes away.
