Located 65 miles from Denver with easy access off I-70, we back up to Arapahoe National Forrest. Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and hiking are available directly behind the condo. Five major ski areas are just minutes away. Free shuttle service is available in front of the condo.
This is our second home and we spend a lot of time here, both summer and winter. It has recently been updated, including a new kitchen, carpeting and tile. We want you to feel like you are in your home away from home. Vaulted ceilings create an openness.
There are plenty of options for dining, shopping and sight-seeing. The Silverthorne outlet stores are located at the bottom of the hill. Levi, Coldwater Creek, Nike, Polo, Eddie Bauer are just a few of the stores.

Hi, Mary and I have been happily married 22+ years. We love travel, outdoors, cycling, sailng, hiking, good wine, great food, good books, music and life. We live in the Denver Metro area and have spent time in summit county ever since we moved to Colorado.
Why the Owner Chose Salt Lick
We first started looking at condo's in Wildernest 16 years ago. We picked this out as our favorite complex but did not purchase a unit until 2002. The vaulted ceilings makes it feel bigger than it is and creates a very open feeling. This unit backs up to the National Forest with no one looking directly in your windows.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
This is our second home. We spend over 100 days a year here both in summer and winter. We have equipped it much the same as our home in Denver. Full spice rack, flour, baking powder, oils, calphalon frying pans, and everyhting else you would want in your kitchen is here. We leave it fully equipped since we are up here frequently and do not want to move things back and forth.
