Welcome to our beautiful Disney Home. Why pay hotel prices when you can stay in our gorgeous pool and spa home for less and with more amenities? We are located just minutes from Disney World and 20 minutes from Orlando International Airport. Cumbrian Lakes is a beautiful private gated community with forest walks, pristine nature preserves, scenic bike riding and jogging trails and a children's playground. Security is ensured by electronic gates at the entrance to the development, which requires a four digit access code.
Our luxury home awaits you after a hard day at the theme parks. Not only do we have 4 bedrooms - A Queen bedroom master suite with its own pool access and bath with a separate shower stall and relaxing spa garden tub, another queen bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms, but also a pull out sofa in the living room under vaulted ceilings looking out to the pool. We have a spacious living area and formal dining area and a fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar. We have 3 bathrooms in all - plenty of room for 10 guests! All towels and linens are for your use and are laundered after each visit. You will have your own washer and dryer in our home too!
Our screened in heated pool and spa are checked and cleaned weekly and are kept in pristine condition. The lanai (covered patio area) includes dining table and chairs for you to relax and loungers for sunbathing. Underwater lighting means you can enjoy a late night swim or spa!
All of the gardens at Cumbrian Lakes are maintained by the same landscape garden company to ensure a high standard thru the community.

Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2007
My husband and I have 4 children and purchased our Disney home in hopes to help pay for college some day! My husband is a Master Mechanic Finish Carpenter that recently started his own business in woodworking. I have stayed home with my children until 2 years ago when I began my own cleaning company. I also returned to school in January of 2009 and I begin an internship next week in phlebotomy. I hope to be a full time phlebotomist by the fall.
Why the Owner Chose Cumbrian Lakes
We chose Kissimme as our property location because it is so close to the main attractions. In just a few minutes we can be in Disney, Universal Studios or Sea World and even the airport to meet our family members. We chose Cumbrian Lakes for its beauty and friendliness and all it has to offer. Not only is there a playground and hiking trails for the little ones, but also watch the signs as an impromptu football or soccergame will be announced looking for players! This developement is so beautiful with its lakes, (watch out for the alligators!!) wildlife and palm trees.It is also so safe. We have come to know many fellow homeowners and we all help each other out in our neighborhood watch!
The Unique Benefits of this Pool Home
Our family can often be seen lounging in the pool when not at the parks. You will see us feeding cheerios to our fellow feathered friends as they "knock" on the door to the lanai! Just make sure you do not overfeed them and don't leave any food hanging around as not all vacationers like these visitors! My husband likes to stroll the front lake and hang out on the bridge with our kids - the turtles are plentiful and watch out for a sunbathing gator or two! Please do not feed the alligators or get too close - they become too friendly and then have to be removed. Our other favorite thing to do is cook in the kitchen as a family!! We spent Christmas there and had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas breakfast. It was so nice because the house is so open and everyone can talk and relax and help cook! The greatest benefit to staying in a home especially with children is the kitchen. Walmart and Target are so close by that we stock up on breakfast foods and snacks and drinks. This way we eat breakfast at home, pack some drinks and snacks and off to the parks we go. This saves us so much money from buying breakfast and lunch out everyday that we can splurge on nice dinners everynite!! We cannot wait to go back!
