Belle Cottage, completely renovated in 2007, is located near the end of a lovely residential street in the coastal village of Bar Harbor. Just a short walk to Great Meadow Loop in Acadia National Park with connector paths to additional trails and the Park Loop Road. Walk to shops, restaurants, museums, galleries and the Village Green where one can catch the free Island Explorer shuttle bus.
An open floor plan greets guests upon arrival allowing easy conversation flow between the living room, kitchen, dining room and reading areas. Windows on all exterior walls allow for wonderful natural light all day. Clean, white bead board, ceiling fans and a fresh color palate complete the "Cottage Theme" and provide a cheery and comfortable ambiance.
The first floor also includes a double bedroom, full bath, pantry/laundry room and separate entrance foyer. A clever installation of the 32" flat screen TV allows viewing from the living, dining and kitchen areas and the surround-sound speaker system provides even audio volume throughout.
The second floor master suite features a queen bedroom, full bath with Victorian soaking tub, separate shower with block glass window, skylight and separate reading/TV room with sleeper sofa.
The private, fenced, backyard features a large deck with pergola, Vermont Castings Gas grill, dining table and a lovely terrace with fountain - perfect for relaxing afternoons with family and friends after a busy day in town or the park.
