Chatterbox @ Main Street in North Myrtle Beach, a spacious (1,000 square feet) single story family home, is just steps away from Main Street (Home of the Shag) where you will find shopping, dining, dancing and entertainment for all ages. The walk to Ocean Drive and the beach is only one block. At the beach you will find a snack bar, an arcade, bicycle rentals, restrooms and a small amusement park and water slide for children with no admission fees, just pay for the rides as you go. You will also be in walking distance to the popular Shag night spots...Fat Harold's, Ducks and the Spanish Galleon. Our home offers all of these conveniences within walking distance...a great way to save gas while you are at the beach!
For your convenience, we provide linens and towels at no cost to you. Just bring your personal belongings, make a stop at one of the two grocery stores on Main Street (within walking distance) and you'll be ready to start your vacation. We can also arrange for the delivery of cribs, high chairs, beach chairs, umbrellas, golf carts, etc.
Our house has an open floor plan — a large living room with cable television, a dining area, a full size kitchen with modern appliances, three large bedrooms with cable televisions (2 with 2 full size beds, 1 with 1 king size bed), sleep sofa in living room, two full size baths with tub/shower, and an enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water right off the rear deck.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
Our family purchased this home in October 2007. North Myrtle Beach is family oriented and away from the traffic jams of Myrtle Beach where all the dinner theaters, Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach are located. However, it's only a 15-20 minute drive to these venues if we wish to visit them. We like the quiet area, being a 1/4 block to Main Street (that has a lot to offer for all ages) and only being one block from the beach. Being able to walk to the beach saves us from having to find a parking space or pay for parking. A quick walk to and from the beach also allows for everyone to come and go to the beach/house as they please.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The huge kitchen is fantastic, it will fit more than one cook and one dishwasher :) Three showers with hot water:) 4 televisions with cable tv :) Choice of sitting on front porch or rear deck :) In summary, lots of room for everyone and always a place to find a spot to be by yourself to watch tv, read, or just relax!
