Casa Del Sol is beautifully appointed and tastefully decorated. On the upper level tou will find a King bedroom with a private deck & full bathroom, cable TV with VCR, ceiling fan, phone & alarm clock. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds, private bathroom & deck along with a cable TV--great for the kids or extra guests! Between the 2 rooms there is a full laundry area--we even provide the laundry soap!
The lower level has a half bathroom, FULLY stocked kitchen to cook your catch of the day & a comfortable living room that includes a sleeper sofa, love seat, coffee table for playing games, cable TV with VCR & DVD along with games, books, puzzles & movies to enjoy when your not on the white sand beaches! This is an end unit, so there is also a window seat for lots of extra light!
Large back deck off the living area to enjoy beautiful sunsets over the gulf or grill up whatever you caught surf fishing that day! Yes! The fishing is GREAT!
The Cape San Blas beaches are beautiful and uncrowded--you'll love the white quartz sand that doesn't burn your feet, the sand dunes that give the setting character, & the gentle Gulf waves. The fishing is great, the crabbing fun and the activities abound from boating, hiking, biking, scalloping and tennis to impromptu socials.
All of life becomes casual and fun once you breath the glorious salt air and let go of what you left behind. Try it and you'll be coming back regularly like most of our guests.
Barrier Dunes is a gated, family and pet friendly neighborhood! You'll never find any wild crowds and you'll often see children scootering on the quite streets or making new friends in the pool!
We promise a getaway you'll never forget. The Cape is not as well known, but definitely better liked by those who have discovered its magic. Nestled up to the State Park and surrounded by water, it is the perfect place for a nature lovers explorations. Boating, restaurants and other diversions are only minutes away, yet many of our guest never leave Barrier Dunes. Play tennis, swim in the pools, sunbath on the beach while watching the ever changing scenes, fish, crab, stir up a card game or read till your hearts content.
Pet lovers are overjoyed at being able to bring along their dog(s), especially those who like to make an extended stay with us. Different from other beaches, you can take your dogs on the Cape San Blas beaches anytime!
