If you want to get away from everything.... except a cottage on a beautiful beach in the Bahamas, then consider a week at the REEF HOUSE.
The REEF HOUSE is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath, oceanfront cottage located at Bahama Palm Shores, Abaco, Bahamas. The cottage is aptly named because it is in swimming distance of a series of reefs that calm the ocean before the waves hit the beach, making it perfect for swimming, snorkeling, fishing, or just viewing the beautiful tropical colors.
The spacious cottage is fully equipped; has a great room with cathedral ceilings, a complete kitchen, dining, and living area that opens to a screened porch overlooking the ocean. There are two queen bedrooms with adjoining baths downstairs, and two large loft bedrooms that are easily accessible by stairs.
Abaco Island is less than 200 miles east of Florida, and Marsh Harbor has an international airport served by several major U.S. airlines, as well as numerous Floridian and Bahamian airlines.
The REEF HOUSE is located about 19 miles south of Marsh Harbor, and we will provide map and easy directions. By far, the best way to get to the cottage is to rent a car at the airport in Marsh Harbor (about $350/wk). You then have the pleasure of your own private beach cottage; yet have to ability to explore and enjoy the entire island of Abaco.
We rent for a week or longer at a time,(no nightly rentals)
$1600/week(7 nights) and $200 for each additional night.
