Nohonani is a small oceanfront complex (28 units in 2 four story buildings with an elevator) fronting on one of West Maui's best sand beaches. Its ideal location lets you walk to restaurants, grocery shopping, and local boutiques. Hawaiian fruit grows on the grounds and is often made available to the guests. We have an oceanfront pool and our own private white sand beach. A short walk down the beach connects you with another beach that will let you walk miles of beautiful sandy coastline.
Unit #300 has recently completed its renovation. Improvements include new carpeting and beautiful furnishings. This is an end unit on the third floor giving added privacy and a spectacular crows nest view of outer islands and golden sunsets. Guests comments have been "Outstanding!" Spacious two bedrooms and one and a half baths.
Nohonani is the place where dream vacations come true. Nohonani is 3 miles to Whalers Village, 5 miles to Lahaina town, 18 miles to Maalalea harbor, and 27 miles to Kahului airport (about 45 minutes). There is a new large Star Market one mile down the road, a Safeway and Longs Drugs 5 miles south. There is also a local market 3 blocks south. There is a farmers market for fresh produce, and flowers three days a week only 1 blocks south. Costco is located at the first stop light as you come out of the airport where you can stock up if you are inclined to fix your own meals. The Lahaina/Kaanapali/Kahana/Kapalua area has some world class restaurants as well as some very good reasonably priced dining.
There’s even fast food if you desire and, of course, Luaus with great local entertainment. Maui has been voted the best island vacation for many years. MAUI NO KA OI!!! (Maui is the best.) |
