We rented this fantastic home for a "family reunion". There were 4 families (8 adults, 6 children). The home accomodated everyone comfortably. The furnishings were nice and the dishes, utensils, glasses, etc were everything we could have hoped for. The layout lent itself to family gatherings and meals in the well appointed lower level. A complete kitchen, access to the barbeque and a large bar area accomodated everyone. The dock was great and large enough for everyone to swim from. The water was perfect - we stayed in for hours. Boating was wonderful - the water was always calm. The kids loved tubing behind the boat. I do recommend having a boat at this vacation site. It is a long trip to town but the large refrigerators let us get everything we needed in our first trip. Once you're at the house you don't want to leave! The location lent itself to side trips to Gatlinberg and Norris Dam. Rafting in the Smokey's on the Gatlinberg trip was a treat. All - in - all we were very pleased with our rental.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.
