This is a cabin on a quarter acre corner lot. There is also a quarter acre lot next to it that is for use with the cabin. The lot is filled with beautiful trees and has a large in ground fire pit, so just pull the chairs up and enjoy roasting marshmallows in the great outdoors. There is also a horse shoe pit and a wonderful hammock to enjoy the outside. The three adjacent lots behind the property is a green belt. Lots of privacy.

The cabin is two bedrooms one bathroom with loft and sleeps six max.

The cabin is walking distance to the lake and Sugar Pine National Park. You have to try the Tahoma markets deli sandwiches. You've never tasted anything like them. Then take a walk to the kids play ground and enjoy your meal while the kids play. In the summer, they have an outside theatre in Tahoe City. Just pick up a Tahoma Weekley for the movie listings. It's great family fun. Homewood ski resort is about a mile away and we're located in between both casino areas of the Nevada State Line and South Lake Tahoe. A short distance to Sunny Side Restaurant.

You may also enjoy the other ski resorts that are located about 20 minutes away. Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadow.

Summer also offers endless bike and hiking trails. A short drive to one of Tahoe's most beautiful beaches at Meeks Bay, featuring various boat rentals, a snack bar and free air station for your inflatables. We made sure our cabin is part of Tahoma's homeowner’s association which offers a pier and beach within a short walking distance. Sugar Pine Point State Park is just yards away for great cross country skiing, hiking and mountain biking. The entrance to the world famous Rubicon Trail is also a close distance from our cabin. Come enjoy all the fun that awaits you in Tahoma year round.

My daughter and I loved it. It's perfectly funky. No dishwasher. My daughter was excited to wash all the dishes by hand!! Few things not working perfectly, but cute, cozy, warm and relaxing. I hope to return. Only real downside was that twice we ran the bath and both times it was lukewarm.

My boyfriend, our dog and I spent three lovely winter nights in this charming cabin. The vibe of the cabin is very friendly and homey - not posh or luxury but that is not what we were looking for. It is very comfortable, super warm and cozy. It is very well stocked, we found everything we thought to look for an then some. A fun assortment of games and movies, as well as your basics like dishes and towels. This home would be perfect for two couples, or a family. The bedrooms upstairs are structured in a way that you have to walk through the bedroom with the single bed to get to the 2 bedrooms with the larger beds, so just something to keep in mind. Also, the stairs are STEEP and narrow so they could be tricky for some. We didn't mind being in a neighborhood, but be aware that you can see plenty of neighbors from this house. Our dog really enjoyed playing with the dogs that lived across the street, and the yard is large (not fenced) so you are not too close to anyone. We liked being close to town and walking down to the market! Tahoma in the winter is very quiet - mostly just a market and a pizza place, but it is a short drive to Tahoe City, which has everything you would need and has a nicer vibe then South Lake. The owners of the cabin were GREAT with providing quick help whenever needed, and we enjoyed our stay very much!

Owner response: Thank you for your comments. It is always better when you are able to see guests comments and thoughts on the property and area. Just to clarify... You do not "walk into a bedroom to get to another bedroom". There are two bedrooms upstairs with bedroom doors. The area in which the guest is referring to is the landing area at the top of the stairs that has a daybed for extra sleeping. Please refer to pictures, I believe they will show what is being referenced.

The cabin is so well stocked, it's amazing. Everything from tea to a 'super soaker.' However, the main draw is the firepit (with lots of firewood) and hammock on the adjacent empty lot. Most cabins here just have a BBQ and no lot to speak of. No place to make 'smores... This cabin is ideal for families (I was there with just my wife), even the marshmallows and skewers are provided. The owners are apparently generous to a fault -- I assume they don't mind guests 'borrowing' a cup of sugar or some olive oil or butter or cream cheese... The library of DVDs is also quite nice, although it would be a shame to watch TV when you can have yourself a fire. The location is very nice -- away from the busy highway, but only a few minutes drive to Meeks bay or Sugarpine park. The only caveat is that the staircase to the bedrooms upstairs is steep and narrow. Definitely not for young children or the elderly. Next time we'll bring my brother and his wife -- the place is great for 2 couples.

What a wonderful and charming cabin to stay in! Close to the lake, neighborhood store and Homewood Skiing. Had great movies, games and a big lot for the kids. Very comfortable and will definatley make our way back to stay! Thank you for all your wonderful extra touches in the cabin - made it fell very homey!
