Owner's Map of Kaunakakai
Barbie & Jeff Fairchild, Owners We had been visiting Maui for years and then toured all the islands. We fell in love with the peace and tranquility of Molokai and it's old Hawaii lifestyle. We were fortunate enough to be able to find an affordable resort condo, and renovated it to compliment the comfort we experience on Molokai.

This is a nice condo and a lovely place to stay on Molokai. It was comfortable and very clean. There were a couple of minor glitches--the dishwasher was broken and we were only supplied with one roll of toilet paper for our week-long stay, but otherwise it was wonderful. The owners were very prompt in replying to emails and we appreciated being able to make all of the arrangements over the internet.
Owner response:Sorry again for the dishwasher not working. Had it replaced under warranty before your stay but learned later that the water valve broke during installation and was not repaired prior to your stay. Glad you enjoyed your stay at our home and Molokai.

Our time in Molokai was only for 3 nights but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo at Wavecrest. It was well equipped, nicely decorated and very comfortable. It's situated to take advantage of the trade winds which made for delightful evenings after a full day of exploring the island. The kitchen is well stocked and everything we needed was right at hand. In addition to internet access they have provided a nice selection of reading materials and maps about Molokai. The swimming pool is lovely, overlooking the ocean and we only wish we had more time to spend in it. Jeff and Barbie were very thorough and made the rental process easy, providing us with useful information about the island as well. We hope to be back and spend more time at this condo. Mahalo

We had a wonderful weekend stay - peaceful and quiet. The condo was sooo comfortable - I loved the cozy cushy seats and couch - and the bed was perfect and luxurious. Kitchen is well equipped and the view is very nice. The pool/bbq area is also one of the nicest I've enjoyed in all of our Hawaiian vacations (and we live in Maui!). The exterior of the complex might dissaude some visitors (a bit dated/motel-like), but inside this condo could have fooled me: it is beautifully appointed and wonderfully maintained. For an affordable rental, this is an exceptional quality rental.

We are regular users of VRBO and we found this condo ranked as one of the better ones we have stayed at in Hawaii. The VRBO listing information was accurate and the photos match what you get. I agree with other postings that the condo was very nicely equipped with a modern kitchen with gas range (wonderful to cook on!), nice linens and towels, a good bathroom with shower, very comfortable and clean furniture, and a newer flatscreen tv with cable service. The unit was clean and spotless and the decor in the unit was wonderful with tasteful flower arrangements artwork, and some nice Molokai inofrmation books to read. The complex also had wireless Internet so you can use your computer from the unit or while relaxing by the pool. The unit is in the middle of building and has a nice direct water view overlooking the pool and the location was quiet and peaceful. The grounds and pool were well kept and the bbq's by the pools were great for cooking on! One final note. We were delighted to deal with Jeff & Barbie. They were very helpful and answered us in a timely fashion. Our financial arrangements and dealing with Jeff & Barbie were handled professionally and we found their honesty and integrity delightful considering we have never met and that all arrangements were made over the Internet. I would highly recommend this unit.

My husband and I just came back from a delightful stay in Molokai. The condo was super in every way -- beautiful silk flower arrangements, perfect bed, tasteful artwork, well-euipped kitchen, gorgeous view, quiet, meticulous, lovely towels and linens -- nothing could have been better. We swam laps in the pool every day. The grounds were superbly maintained -- blooming flowers everywhere. Feel free to email me if you want to know more about this place in paradise. The owners were also fantastic to work with. Barbie and Jeff walk the extra mile to make sure that you have an amazing experience at their spectacular condo. ALOHA!

We a great time on Molokai, and having a nice place to come "home" to every afternoon at your place (Wavecrest C309) was a big part of it. We opened the door the first time and were pleasantly surprised with how new everything looked. Whoever cleans for you does a great job. The view was very nice. I especially enjoyed getting up and seeing the sun rise over Maui. Sitting on your lanai with the bar and bar height stools was very relaxing. The pool was just right for us. It was nice to jump in and get refreshed. And although there were always other people there it never felt crowded. I really liked the covered room off to the side of the pool. The "library" of books was a nice surprise. I borrowed a book and read it while we were there, and left 2 others that I had brought on the trip and finished. The gas grills were cleaner than mine at home and I baby mine. We grilled on them 2 of the nights. The landscaping was well done, and every morning - Sunday included - someone was out picking up leaves, raking and taking care of the plants and trees. What really set Wavecrest apart were the people we met. Some owners and some fellow travelers renting like us. Everyone was cordial and shared ideas on where to go and what to see. We hope to make another trip to Molokai soon, and hope you unit C309 is available when we do.

This was a beautiful place to stay on Molokai. Just returned from a three week vacation in Hawaii and stayed here for the first week. Owners were absolutlely great to us and the place was just renoed and was fantastic. Would recommend this to anyone who wants peace and quiet and a super time on this island. True Hawaii with few tourists and little commercialism......loved it......and will definately be there again.... Dave and Carol Olson Victoria, B.C.
