I spent the week at Villa Caribbean Jewel. It was the most relaxing vacation I ever had in my life. I came with 3 other ladies and we had a terrific time. The home is exquisite and the views are to die for. It is truly a paradise! The fact that the home has a generator was a plus, because regardless of any shortage on the island, the house was always at 100%. Not all places have this extra feature. I also enjoyed Ursala the housekeeper who cooked, cleaned, and accompanied us to various places on our invite. It was wonderful having a local with us. I can't wait to go back . I tell everyone I see that this home is a must for a vacation.It was just fabulous!!

Best villa at St.Marten

We just returned from a fabulous stay at Villa Caribbean Jewel.This is the sixth villa we have stayed in St.Marten.It is by far the best and most satisfying villa.It is perched on a hill overlooking the sea.We do not use the aircondition at night so that we can enjoy the cooling breeze and the soothing lulluby of the waves.There is nothing more relaxing than soaking in the infinity pool in the late afternoon and gazing into the distance and watching the seagulls with a glass of wine.The design of the villa is stunning and the lay-out of the house has nothing but privacy in mind.The upkeep of the villa is immaculate.Security is not a concern being in a ated community.The location is central to every place you want to visit.We could not ask for more.We will certainly return next year.

This Villa is best vacation spot we have enjoyed, ever! Something to do for everyone, spacious and secure. Thanks Ursula for all you do there, and Ginny all your tips were so very very helprful. If you need to rent a vehicle, use Michael at Unity Rentals. It's close to the airport and he will get you there and back, no problem. Everyone has been a joy to work with, we will definitely go back again.

As soon as we arrived at "The Caribbean Jewel" we knew we were at home, for the next 7 days... Besides the beauty and romantic setting of the property, it was comfy, cozy; we really felt at home. Ursala ( the "one in a million" housekeeper) gave us the lay of the land and we made out (financially) at the Casino, as well as in town; she was our lucky charm !!! Our week went way too FAST...... In fact, we are planning our return visit to Paradise for 2012!

Amazing Vacation!

What a villa! I can't say enough wonderful things about it!! The views are better than I ever could have dreamed. It has every luxury of home, with views that you can't believe until you see them. Ursula is so amazing .. you are so lucky to have her!! She brought extra light the already beaming vacation. She was happy, upbeat and ready to help us with whatever we needed! Your tip sheet was right on and filled with valuable information that I would have never of thought about! As per your recommendation, Danny and I stayed in the master suite and all I can say is WOW! No matter how late we went to bed, we were awake and watching the sunrise from bed every morning. The island holds so many exciting things to do but it's almost hard to leave the villa, with its breathtaking views and breeze that's out of this world, it's so relaxing! When you do venture out, be sure to hit Busby's for breakfast! We're already looking forward to our next visit :)

Perfect Villa

I went with a group of friends for the second year in a row. This year was even better if you can believe it. We stayed for a week and it still wasn't long enough to do everything we wanted. I started missing it as we drove to the airport. The house is amazing and if you think that the pics are great wait til you see it in person. The house has everything you can ever want for and Ursula the housekeeper is the greatest ever. She made us a home cooked meal one night which was better than any of the restaurants we went to. The house is close to Dawn Beach and the Westin and only a few minutes from Phillipsburg. This is the place to stay at when going to St. Maarten. This will feel like your own place the moment you drive through the gate. Don't waste your money on a hotel when you can stay at a paradise like this. We thinking about going down again this summer, that's how much we miss this place and Ursula. Thanks Ginny for everything!

The Perfect Vacation

This was our third time staying at the Caribbean Jewel. We love the house and Ursula so much! Ginny has been great at helping us plan our trips and ensuring that everything is perfect. This year she helped my boyfriend plan a private day charter to the British West Indies and he proposed to me on Sandy Island!! Ursula prepared an excellent caribbean meal for us and we took her out to dinner in Grand Case to thank her. We spent 7 days on SXM at the Caribbean Jewel and still left feeling that we didn't have enough time - you really can do anything or nothing at all. Our next trip will have to be for at least 2 weeks! I wish we could visit more often. Hands down - You will not find a better house on the island with more helpful owners. You can tell they really take pride in their home.

Wonderful Vacation

My husband, myself and 3 other couples spent 8 fabulous days in St. Maarten at this lovely Villa . House was beautiful and has a view to die for. Ursula was a true gem, helped us with so much during our stay. We explored the island, went to Anguilla, bought jewelry in Phillipsburg and did a whole lot of eating and drinking... truly memorable vacation. Thank you so much for letting us share your home. We would recommend to anyone. When we get back down to that part of the Caribbean, we would definitely rent your place again. May be a few years from now... but you never know! Thanks again,

What a fabulous place! The views and the gardens are wonderful. What a fabulous week. I can't wait to book again. The Villa is lovely in everyway and the VIEW is breathless. I enjoyed my martini every night on the terrace overlooking St. Bart's. Wow those stars shine so bright down there. Dinners on the French side of the Island were perfect. I am in the food business and go to Paris twice a year and those French chefs did it right. From our pick up from the airport to our ride back to the airport, it was a perfect vacation.

Fabulous Villa on a Fabulous Island!!!

My husband and I stayed at the Villa Caribbean Jewel in January 2011 for our honeymoon. We had never been to St. Martin/Maarten before, but fell in love with the island and the villa we stayed in. Caribbean Jewel is every bit as gorgeous as the pictures. The view is spectacular, and it is located in a beautiful gated community. Every morning we spent time in the sun as we watched the sun rise of St. Barths, swam in the pool, and enjoyed breakfast. Sleeping in the beautiful caribbean breeze at night on the extremely comfortable king size bed gave us some of the best sleep we have gotten in our lives. We would spend the day touring the island and visiting places like Isle Pinel, a small island off the north shore of St. Martin that has wonderful snorkeling or going to Sunset Beach to enjoy the water and watch planes land and take0off directly over our heads. In the evening we would enjoy the restaurants of the island. Some of our favorites were L'Escargot in Philipsburg (they have a drag show on Friday evenings with a prix fixe menue that is to die for), La Villa on Grand Case, and The Sopranos just past the airport. We also enjoyed the casinos. Our favorite (and the largest on the Island) was Atlantis, just past the golf course. We won over $800.00. We found the slots to be a little looser than those in the United States. The only bummer was that most card tables at the casinos were only open at a certain time of the day, so if it's black jack, 3 card poker, or roullette you want to play, make sure you go at night! We enjoyed Sunday brunch at the Westin, which is just down the hill from the villa. We also enjoyed water sports at Baie Oriental, and Mardi Gras on Tuesday nights in Grand Case. We hope to come back very soon. This house would be perfect for 4 couples. All of the rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need if you hope to cook a few of your own meals. Ginny, and Ursela, and everyone were great, and our honeymoon was perfect.

We had a wonderful time at the Caribbean Jewel! The house and the views are breathtaking. I cannot wait to go back! There is so much to do on the Island. We went to a different beach every day and even made it over to St. Bart’s. The restaurants were awesome. I especially loved the French side. We have been to many islands and this was by far our favorite!

My husband and I spent a week here for our honeymoon. Ursla was such a big help getting us situated. The villa is beautiful (just like the pictures)! We loved having our meals out on the deck with a view of St. Barts. The house has all the amenities you could need. There is so much to do on the island! We went jet skiing at Great Bay, went on the zip lines on the French side, took the Prickly Pear day cruise to Anguilla, and enjoyed going to the many beaches on the island. We tried to go to a few beaches everyday because each beach is so unique. We didn't have to plan anything ahead of time because Ginny and her family have put together a wonderful binder that is a fabulous resource for figuring out what to do and where to eat on the island. We can't wait to go back...and take many friends with us!!

Your home is aptly named however we would add an s to the end and call it Caribbean Jewels because Ursula is a gem for preparing our gourmet meals, the constant breezes,our daily adventures and the closeness of Buzbees where we ate 3 times. Well another great vacation for Jenilee and the group and we got to come along this year.We rented 2 person boats and toured the island and everyone liked the new Palm Beach club in Orient. For the 4th we went to Cheri's for the USA party and had tons of fun there.Everyone's favorite spot is still Busby's.Another amazing vacation. Thank you!

June 2010. Amazing! Just like the pictures. What a incredible place to vacation, the home is beautiful with every ammenity you could need. The view's amazing from every room and balcony. We started each day with our coffee on the ocean terrace by the pool and ended each evening there with a night cap and a cool ocean breeze. The beaches and restaurants are all wonderful and the people are extremely friendly both sides of the island. Our favorite beach is Character Beach- lots of activities and great food!

Thank You so much! This was an excellent vacation. The views and beaches are spectacular. The accomadations couldn't of been any better. This home is suitable for large families, honeymooners,a large group of friends, etc. It's perfect! It has everything you could ask for.and more. You can relax, enjoy the nightlife, shop, sightsee,etc. Need help or recommendations with anything when your there- Ursula is very knowledgeable of the island and extremely helpful. The pictures posted are beautiful, but they don't even compare to the real view. It's breathtaking. We can't wait to come back.

We just got back from our third trip to the Caribbean Jewel. This time a group of 7 of us went down and we had an incredible time! Ginny helped us set up a day trip to Anguilla and got us great deals on our rental Jeeps (almost half price) and other activities that we missed before! She even told us where to go for the best deals on everything from jewelry to groceries. Ursula cooked us an authentic dinner on the back deck our last night as we listened to music, dipped in the pool and laid out on the chairs. Every afternoon when we came back to the house it was spotless. We only stayed for a week and wish we were there for more! Already planning our next trip down for next February!! Thank you so much for sharing your house with us!!

My husband and I went with two other couples, we were so happy every room has a beautiful view of the surrounding islands. I cannot say enough. Ginny and Bob, Such a wonderful place. We had great views, gorgeous sunsets, beautiful beaches and dinners to die for. It was so relaxing. I had a wonderful week with friends at this enchanting location. The accommadations at the house were exception. I enjoyed going to the different restaurants like Big Fish and Daniels. The housekeeper Ursela went out of her way to answer our questions and direct us to good food places to shop. The view from the terrace toward St. Barts is beyond descriptin. The residents we met were warm and friendly. Also traveling to a different beach it day was a tropical adventure. I can hardly wait to do this again

What a fun week! We had a wonderful time staying here during our "Girlfriends" vacation. A beautiful villa--so peaceful and relaxing. A perfect house for a large group--plenty of space to get together or if you are looking for some privacy the house was well set up for that, too. The bedrooms are placed in a way that allows everyone their own space and bathroom. Great views wherever you looked--turquoise blue water all around! The recommended restaurants were excellent--we especially enjoyed Daniels and Big Fish. Ursula was a "gem" and took good care of us. Can't wait to return!

We can't thank you enough for sharing your villa with us.  It is a private paradise with unbelievable views from every angle.  We both agreed it was the best trip we had since our honeymoon.   The weather was great.  Ursula and Thomas were very friendly and helpful. The area where your house is located was our favorite part of the island: Oyster Bay, Dawn Beach, etc.  Daniels by the Sea, Aura (the steakhouse in the Westin Hotel) and Island Pizza were our favorite dinners. We hope to bring you more vacationers as we tell our friends and co-workers of our wonderful experience.   We still are looking at our pictures in amazement of the views we had all week long...as we spent most of our days out back laying by the pool and looking out onto the Ocean. We hope to one day come back to experience it all again next time with a few other couples. Thank you again for your generosity.

Ginny and family, Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We all had the best time. Your recommendations were right on and we got to most of them. We really enjoyed the talk of the town for a big late lunch after the hike to Happy Bay. Bliss was a great time and the Bar Crawl Booze cruise was tons of fun. I had a fabulous week at this caribbean villa. There are spectacular views from each window of the house. This villa could be placed in a Caribbean Magazine. It is so magnificent. This home has all the comforts of home plus the extra amenities that everyone would want of a dream vacation spot. There is top notch security and outstanding comforts throughout. I have already reserved my vacation week for next year. This exclusive gated community is one of the nicest on the island.I would not look any further for a vacation spot.This one tops them all!!!

I was met at the airport to start my vacation by two wonderful staff members of Carribean Jewel Villa.They welcomed me from the start and I knew I was bound to have the most luxurious vacation. I wasn't disappointed. I can't even put it into words have wonderful my stay was for the week. All I can say is this was my amazing moment in time! My husband and I got married here on the deck of the house June 7th. We then went and took additional pictures on the beach in the neighborhood. The house is amazing and the views are to die for! It was absolute PARADISE!!! Ursula, the housekeeper is AMAZING!! Very sweet, helpful and actually ended up being one of our witnesses and helped me into my gown and put my veil on. I hope that any one that gets the chance to vacation at this beautiful home enjoys it as much as me and my husband did.

There were lots of great things about this rental. Start to finish overall great experience. The owner of the rental spent time helping us prepare for what we needed, gave us great tips and was very easy to work with. The view from the deck, where you will spend most of your time, is amazing. We have traveled thru most of the caribbean and never woken up daily to such a view (comfortable bed too). The housekeeper made our stay very pleasant, offering to help, but not getting in our way. The residents of the island were the nicest and most efficient of anywhere we have been. They really understand the concept of guest services. 'All around great vacation. 'Would definitely stay in this villa again or rent from this owner in another location.

Incredible! What a lovely place, I have finally found a place to de-compress.......amazing. We have enjoyed the view, the house, the help that took care of us. WOW, is the first impression that comes to mind when staying at this beautiful home on the caribbean sea. We stayed for a week and enjoyed different beaches every day, wonderful resturants and lovely locals. The house has every thing you could possibly want and more. The view is breathtaking, the sunrise wakes you up each morning, the deck and pool overlooking St. Barts is perfect. Gorgeous gardens surround this home and are abound with color. The home has the most comfortable furniture, music that flows throughout the whole house (bring your CD's) and the flat screen TV w/ surround sound is awesome for watching movies. By weeks end, we did not want to leave, but we will definately being coming back to this lovely home for years to come.

This property is SPECTACULAR! There is nothing like waking up every morning and enjoying the view of St. Barths without even having to get out of bed! We love it, love it, love it!
