We rented this fabulous home for a family reunion. This home allowed us to stay together under one roof. Every effort was made for our comfort and enjoyment. It is very difficult to please everyone in a large group, but this home gave us the space to be together and space to ourselves at the end of the day. I hope this will be available next time we have a gathering. I would recommend this property without hesitation. I don't feel I can adequately express in words how pleased we were. Thank you so much.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

Easily accommodated 7 adults and 3 children. Definitely room for more. The house is located in a very quiet, private location. Absolutely loved having the pool and the owner made sure it stayed clean during our stay. We had a couple of storms, one of them caused power outage. The owner battled the storm to make sure we had candles and flash lights. The house has some quirks but overall a great place to have a getaway. Couldn't ask for a more accommodating owner. Thanks!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

the view from the rear deck was terrific, the bedrooms were nicely furnished, the pool area was nice, but the water was cloudy from a clogged filter (we were the first renters of the season). the kitchenware was average and the house is in need of minor repairs. there was a boat available for rent, but it was just out of minor maintentence. we loved the Lodge at Lake Guntersville State Park for breakfast, and the golf course there is reasonable and nice for the money. most restaurants there are heavy into fried food, and we definitely do NOT recommend The Cowboy. make sure to get directions to the house from the owner, as it would be difficult to find without them. the owners were friendly and helpful. we would go back again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful experience. Fantastic location, extremely convenient to grocery, boat ramp and downtown. Fishing was great! The location was such that you could easily go and stay even if you don't take a boat. The house was very clean and comfortable with a great deck and view of the water. We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to go back! Thanks for a fun spring break!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.
